Wisconsin man suffers serious, life-threatening injuries following crash, arrested for OWI
LEBANON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say one man is seriously hurt and is facing life-threatening injuries following a crash late Tuesday night. According to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 11:27 p.m. to County Road MM near Bluebird Road in the Township of Lebanon for a reported crash. UPDATE: 14-year-old Wisconsin girl last seen May 19 has been found Officials on the scene say a 2017 Ram 1500 was heading north on Bluebird Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign and proceeded through the intersection before hitting a tree and coming to rest in a small creek. The driver of the vehicle, a 50-year-old man from Watertown, was trapped inside the vehicle and suffered serious, life-threatening injuries. The 50-year-old man was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to the Aurora Summit Hospital. He was also arrested for his first Operating While Intoxicated offense. The Brief Storms swept across Wisconsin on Thursday, leaving significant damage. A tornado hit Dodge County. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said many streets and highways are closed due to power lines and trees being down. The sheriff's office tells FOX6 News some people lost their homes. DODGE COUNTY, Wis. - Severe storms swept across Wisconsin on Thursday, May 15, causing significant damage. A tornado tore through Dodge County, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. What we know The We Energies outage map reported more than 14,000 customers without power as of 6 a.m. on Friday. The cities of Juneau and Mayville, around 60 miles northeast of Milwaukee, received some of the worst damage as tornado-warned storms moved through around 6 p.m. The National Weather Service will be on site Friday morning to assess the damage. What they're saying "We are stressing to everybody, to please avoid the City of Mayville and the City of Juneau if you don't live there," the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said. "We are trying to get things cleaned up." The sheriff's office tells FOX6 News some people lost their homes. Crews rushed one person to the hospital after their roof caved in. At this point, only minor injuries have been reported to emergency personnel. Waldvogel's Farm in Juneau reported severe damage due to high winds. MILWAUKEE - The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said residents in the Juneau and Mayville areas have been asked to shelter in place as crews work to clean up storm damage and restore power on Thursday night, May 15. At this point, the sheriff's office said only minor injuries have been reported to emergency personnel. Mayville Mayor Rob Boelk declared a state of emergency due to the "substanial" damage. "When they say it sounds like a freight train, they ain't lying. it was loud. I could feel the house heave and the wall upstairs in the master bedroom is cracked. The foundation is cracked." "We heard on the scanner that there was a tornado or funnel cloud to the west of us, so we went down to the basement, and we were down there for like five, 10 minutes and all you could feel was like a lot of pressure," said Mayville resident Bridget Kuehle. Silver Alert canceled, missing Dodge County man found safe
The Brief A Silver Alert has been issued for 73-year-old Gregg Schepp. He left his home in Dodge County, near Columbus, early Sunday morning, May 11. He has dementia, and it is not known where he is going. DODGE COUNTY, Wis. - UPDATE: The Silver Alert was canceled; Gregg has been found safe. A Silver Alert has been issued for a Dodge County man who has gone missing and has dementia, Gregg Schepp. According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, Gregg Schepp left his home on O'Connor Road (near Columbus) at about 5 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Gregg is 73 years old, white, with a height of 5 ft 7 inches and a weight of 190 lbs. He is partially bald on top of his head with brown and gray hair. Wisconsin woman arrested for alleged threats towards Waupun prison employees
DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 32-year-old Wisconsin woman was arrested on Monday, stemming from investigations into threats made to Waupun Correctional Institution employees. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office reported that it had been investigating the threats made to other people at the institution as well. The release said numerous victims received hundreds of threatening and harassing calls, texts and/or emails. Deputies: Driver crashes into postal worker in Wisconsin after waiving to Amish farmer The threats were disruptive of the prison's operations, as law enforcement had to increase its presence near victims' homes. On Monday, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office and multiple Milwaukee Police Department units performed a search warrant on a Milwaukee residence. Detectives found devices that provided evidence of the alleged threats. 32-year-old Trina Brown of Milwaukee was arrested, with multiple counts of the following charges requested: Stalking Terroristic Threats Unlawful Use of a Telephone Unlawful Use of a Computerized Communication System Bail Jumping Woman in Wisconsin arrested on battery charges after allegedly assaulting roommate, damaging property Any charges will be through the Dodge County District Attorney's Office.
