Tribute to 'all-round great kid' who died in crash between scooter and tractor

Tributes have been paid to a "wonderful" teenager who died after his moped crashed with a tractor. Ronnie Tillot, 17,from Chester, died on Friday 11 July following the incident on Welsh Road in Dodleston. In a statement Ronnie's family said: "As a family, we are devastated and heartbroken at the loss of a wonderful son and brother. Ronnir was the most compassionate, hardworking and just all-round great kid. "Our lives will never be the same. In a statement, Cheshire Police said: "Police and ambulance attended the scene, but sadly despite the best efforts of all those involved, the rider of the moped, a 17 year-old boy from Great Boughton, died at the scene. "His next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers. The driver of the tractor, a 19-year-old man from Wrexham, was uninjured, and no arrests have been made at this time." Detective Sergeant Russ Sime called it an 'absolutely tragic incident'. "Our thoughts are with the family teenager involved," he said. Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information to get in touch.
