Tipp City man accused of sexual abuse in Miami County

Jun. 3—A 45-year-old Tipp City man is facing sex abuse charges in an ongoing investigation in Miami County. Dominick Robert Funaro was charged with five counts of sexual battery in Miami County Municipal Court. A not guilty plea was entered in court Tuesday and Funaro's bond was set at $25,000. His next hearing is scheduled for June 10. The sex abuse occurred around Nov. 1 through May 31 in Monroe Twp., according to court documents. Funaro was arrested on Monday. The arrest came after Miami County Sheriff's Office detectives began an investigation into allegations reported in the county, the sheriff's office said. Tournament with a twist drawing strong under-30 field

Southern bragging rights will be on the line at the annual celebration of younger bowlers this weekend. The eighth Kittyhawk under-30 tournament is being held at the Dunedin Bowls Stadium on Sunday. It is an optional mixed drawn pairs tournament in which the bowlers draw for their partners before the opening round, a unique feature that throws up all sorts of possibilities. Organiser Ken Walker said there were a couple of contenders travelling up from Invercargill and at least one from Christchurch, so the Dunedin bowlers would need to be on their toes. There are 32 entrants who will be drawn into four sections of four teams. Each pair get three round robin games before post-section play, and half the field will play in a final with an overall prize pool of $2500. The tournament includes a driving and drawing competition, as well as the always entertaining corner-to-corner competition. Defending champions Dominick and Shelby Lester will again be keen to show their talents on the green. Walker said other players to watch included Kelsey Bennett, who has won two centre titles this year, Mitchell Scott, rising star Cam McKean and 12-year-old Jordie McEwan. Play starts at 9.30am on Sunday.

"The Pitt" Just Finished A Perfect First Season, And Everyone Is Making The Same Jokes Because They Are 100% Correct

There are obviously MASSIVE spoilers ahead for The Pitt Season 1! Well, the best new TV show of 2025 has just finished its first season. That's right, I'm talking about the impeccable masterclass that was The Pitt Season 1. The first season followed one shift at a Pittsburgh trauma hospital's emergency room. And it had everything. From a woman giving birth to a little girl drowning in a pool to, well, rats in the ER, every single episode — which chronicles one hour of a 15-hour shift — was somehow better than the last. The Season 1 finale, titled "9:00 p.m.," dealt with the fallout from the PittFest mass shooting as Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) and the morning shift began to clock out, and the night shift took over. And while this was a finale, not everything was wrapped up in a neat little bow, which I honestly loved. We aren't quite sure who we'll see when The Pitt returns for Season 2 in January 2026 — with the season taking place over the 4th of July weekend — but I've fallen in love with this found family and every character so much. Dana, if you can hear me, PLEASE come back to work! So, because The Pitt just wrapped Season 1, here are 25 of the funniest and best reactions to the finale and more: Editor's Note: While we can't endorse what X has become, we can bring you the worthwhile moments that still exist there, curated and free of the surrounding chaos. 1. 2. 3.
