Miley Cyrus looks happy after bombshell news her father Billy Ray is dating Elizabeth Hurley
Miley Cyrus was smiling as she stepped out in New York City on Sunday, a short time after it was revealed her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, was dating actress Elizabeth Hurley. The singer, 32, wore a loose fitting brown sweater as she stepped into a car with boyfriend Maxx Morando, who was spotted wearing dark sunglasses. Her highlighted blonde hair was styled in a loos bun atop her head with short bangs covering her forehead. She wore natural looking makeup with a soft neutral lip and accessorized with a diamond necklace, several sets of earrings and black framed sunglasses. Earlier in the day, the Flowers singer was seen returning from what appeared to be a grocery run wearing the sweater with a pair of loose fitting jeans. Miley and the Liily band member, 26, have been keeping their estimated four-year relationship low key, although they stepped out together at the Oscars in March. Like daughter, like father, it appears, as fans were shocked to learn that Miley's dad, Billy Ray, 63, had been having his own low-key relationship, until Sunday. That's when he and The Royals actress, 59, went Instagram official with their relationship. The made a joint post on Sunday with a sexy photo that appeared to be taken at the Achy Breaky Heart singer's farm in Tennessee next to a 'Happy Easter' message. Hurley's son Damian, 23, expressed his approval using a celebratory emoji. 'So Miley Cyrus could end up with Liz as a step mum…love it! ❤️' wrote a fan. It's unclear what Miley's reaction to the news was. She and her father have had a strained relationship over the years, as have several of her siblings, including sister Noah, 25. Billy Ray tried to reach out to both Miley and Noah with a social media post in March after Miley announced she would release Something Beautiful, her ninth studio album in May and days after Noah had released her single Don't Put It All on Me.; 'Holy s--t. I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one! You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one weeks time has had his ass kicked and his mind blown by not one … but two of his own daughters @mileycyrus @noahcyrus,' he wrote. 'Flesh and blood … completely taking their art to a whole new level. Congratulations girls! Well done. I'm so damn proud of both of you. I'm actually crying as I write this. Thank God you can't see me.' Hurley and Billy Ray met when they were working on 2022's Christmas in Paradise. The Some Gave All singer was in a relationship with Australian singer Firerose, 36, at the time. Billy Ray tried to reach out to both Miley and Noah, 25, with a social media post in March after Miley announced she would release Something Beautiful, her ninth studio album in May and days after Noah had released her single Don't Put It All on Me The two tied the knot in October 2023, before divorcing less than a year later. 'Billy Ray Cyrus was an absolute hoot,' Hurley told the Boston Herald in an interview promoting the comedy. It is unclear when the work relationship turned to something more personal. Earlier this month, Hurley dropped a big clue about the romance when she uploaded a reel of herself on Instagram frolicking on the beach with Cyrus's 'She's Not Cryin' Anymore playing beneath it and tagging the singer.
