AI Project Donut Raises $7M Pre-Seed Funding to Build Agentic Crypto Browser
Artificial intelligence (AI) project Donut has raised $7 million in pre-seed funding to build its Solana-based agentic crypto browser, a tool that helps users engage with blockchain applications. The funding round was led by Hongshan (formerly Sequoia CN), BITKRAFT, and HackVC, Donut announced on X on Thursday. Donut's AI agent-powered browser includes a native cryptocurrency wallet and interacts with decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and other decentralized networks. The browser's AI algorithms process both webpage content and its user's actions in order to autonomously execute on-chain operations. In effect, the browser is designed to help its users transact, trade and earn in real time "like [using] a terminal," according to Donut's post on X. AI agents have been hailed as a key to unlocking the potential for blockchain technology. While interacting with smart contract tools, self custody and bridging across different chains may be complex for humans, it is an environment in which AI agent can be built to thrive.

Oakwood Hills celebrates police week with free coffee & doughnuts
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – It's National Police Week, and one senior center is helping to celebrate those who protect our community. Oakwood Hills Senior Living gave out free doughnuts and coffee to its seniors and members of law enforcement Tuesday. One worker at the center says it's a great way to connect with members of the community. There were also activities, giving them a chance to have a little fun with the officers. 'We have a big presence of of veterans, which I think kind of goes hand in hand with law enforcement. We just have a lot of respect for law enforcement,' said Katie Staniec, the Oakwood Hills Senior Living sales director. Tuesday is also the start of the senior home's new initiative: Blue Tuesday. All staff and residents are encouraged to wear blue on Tuesdays to show their support for law enforcement. One loveable K9 from Altoona named 'Donut' also swung by to help celebrate. The costumes on 'The Masked Singer' never fail to wow — and to make you wonder just how they come up with all these zany ideas after all these years. Years past have brought us Kitty, Leopard and White Tiger, oh my! Along with plenty of non-feline designs, with everything from Donut to Dust Bunny over the years. Now, Season 13 is upon us with fifteen new contestants, who will be donning looks including Nessy, a spin on the Loch Ness Monster; an 'Annihilation'-esque Coral design; and Fuzzy Peas, a three-headed pea pod in bloomers. Hosted by Nick Cannon, the show features returning judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Ken Jeong, along with the newest addition, Rita Ora, who joined the judges table in Season 11 after Nicole Scherzinger departed to star in 'Sunset Boulevard' on stage.
