Harvard Get Its Just Deserts
Dorian Abbot unfortunately draws the wrong conclusion in his op-ed 'Spare Harvard's Immigrant STEM Talent' (April 29). Taking away the Student and Exchange Visitor Program from Harvard wouldn't risk deterring foreign STEM students from coming to the U.S. It would merely stop them from attending Harvard. As Mr. Abbot concedes, the university had it coming. It has 'denied the civil rights of Jews, Asians' and others, and it originated 'critical race theory.' Why, then, would we want exchange STEM students—or anyone—to be subjected to such orthodoxy? Certainly there are other universities without Harvard's blemishes happy to take in those students.
