Thirst Burst Drops that'll quickly become your most talked about skincare item after you see how incredible it'll leave your face looking and feeling. Reviewers love using it instead of the pricier (but VERY similar) Glow Recipe Watermelon Dew Drops. A two-piece pajama set you'll wish was appropriate to wear to work — it's so soft and will make you feel like royalty the second you slip into 'em (instead of someone who works a 9 to 5). A crinkled "paper bag" vase that'll make you want to buy yourself flowers a la Miley Cyrus — it'll incorporate so beautifully with all of the decor you already own and love. 27 Cheap Beauty Products To Replace The Expensive Stuff
A ~weightless~ liquid cream blush for people who are going for the soft, dewy lewk but aren't ready to drop $25 on the Rare Beauty blush. This one stands out for its rich pigmentation and smooth blendability, made even easier with the built-in sponge applicator. Definitely a compliment earner! Hair Chemist's Sleek Spray if you love the Color Wow Dream Coat spray but cringe every time you see its price. This anti-humidity spray works pretty much the same — apply it on damp hair, blow-dry to activate, and then enjoy smooth, glossy hair that'll have you feeling like a Kardashian. E.l.f. Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen that doubles as a water-resistant sunscreen (with SPF 35) and a blurring primer that grips your makeup and keeps it looking smooth all day. It goes on clear — no white cast, no greasy finish — just a silky, lightweight layer of protection. If you're a fan of Supergoop's sunscreen but *not* the price, then this is the next best thing. A tube of the bestselling, $5 (!) Essence's Lash Princess mascara to get you the same results as those premium mascaras that go for $30+. It helps deliver dramatic length and volume without the need for false lashes. And the wand is really great for getting an even application that doesn't clump. Dossier's "Ambery Vanilla" perfume if you're in love with YSL's Black Opium but not so into the $100 price tag. The scent lasts, the bottle's cute, and honestly? No one will know it's not designer unless you tell them (and even then, they might not believe you). A lightweight Sol de Janeiro hair and body fragrance mist in scent Cheirosa '68 — infused with a lovely blend of hibiscus, jasmine, and sun musk, it's reminiscent of the iconic Baccarat Rouge 540 (but won't leave your wallet crying). A Briotech spray made with hypochlorous acid, a powerful ingredient known for calming irritated skin, including helping with conditions like rosacea or post-acne redness. The Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Spray knows what's up, but with this, you get twice the amount for a fraction of the price — it's simple math at this point. CeraVe's resurfacing retinol serum that works like a charm to tackle pesky dark spots, fine lines, and uneven texture. It gently helps renew your skin while keeping things smooth and hydrated — thanks to ceramides and soothing ingredients that help keep irritation at bay. And some reviewers even prefer it over pricier versions (like the $92 Murad Retinol Serum)! Nyx Fat Oil Lip Drip infused with vegan squalane, raspberry, and cloudberry oils to hydrate your lips while providing some serious shimmer. It's comparable to the Dior lip oil and UNDER $10, so everyone say "thank you" to Nyx. E.l.f.'s Hydrating Core Lip Shine in the shade "Ecstatic" that reviewers say is a solid replica of Clinique's Black Honey (ya know, the tinted lip balm famous for looking good on everyyyone), but for a fraction of the price! This one doesn't change colors as magically, but it is a beautiful, subtle tint with a non-sticky formula you'll be happy to have in your bag when you see a cute person at the grocery store. And an E.l.f. multistick — in one simple step, you can add a splash of color to your eyes, lips, and cheeks! It applies as a blendable cream, then dries like a powder to create a more matte look. If you hate juggling several products, this multistick is endlessly versatile, and it's waaaay cheaper than the $39 one from Nars. Marc Anthony "Grow Long" Leave-In Conditioner Spray for detangling while strengthening and nourishing your locks so they can grow to be as long as Rapunzel's. Why bother with several products when you can get everything you need in one spray (complete with biotin, vitamin E, caffeine, and ginseng) instead? A bottle of Elizavecca Hair Treatment that only needs 5–20 minutes to revitalize your hair — and trust me, your strands will thank you. This treatment will leave your mane softer and glossier (it's the ceramide 3 and protein extracts!), and reviewers love how effective it is in repairing their damaged hair. You simply won't find another hair mask that works this well and is this affordable (*side-eyes Olaplex*). E.l.f.'s Halo Glow Liquid Filter so you can get that gorgeous glow without dropping $$ on Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Filter. You can mix it with foundation or moisturizer for a natural glow — or apply it directly as a highlighter. And you'll get some extra hydration thanks to hyaluronic acid and squalane in the formula. Or L'Oreal's True Match Lumi Glotion that'll having you beaming like a beautiful sunset without spending three times as much on Drunk Elephant's D-Bronzi Drops. This adds a lightweight tint that creates a natural dewy look and you can also layer it with foundation or a moisturizer! A bottle of Nyx setting spray if you're tired of your makeup sliding off halfway through the day. One quick spritz, and this magic mist locks in your look for up to 16 hours with zero shine — just like the beloved Urban Decay setting spray, except this one will leave you with extra funds for a sweet treat. An extreme-hold Nyx eyebrow gel that'll ensure your brows stay sleek and sculpted from dawn 'til dusk! The wand applicator effortlessly tames your brows and provides a strong hold without any sticky residue. It's ideal for all brow types and perfect for creating anything from bold, defined arches to a natural, groomed look. A bottle of sulfate-free biotin shampoo with over 36,000 5-star ratings? 🤩 Yes, please. And for under $15 — a total steal. The star ingredient, biotin, can help make your hair look fuller, while rosemary and coconut oils swoop in to nourish and moisturize your scalp. A trio of lip sleeping masks that essentially do the same thing as the Laneige one (providing deep hydration and nourishment) but for waaay less money *and* you get THREE of them! It's primarily an overnight treatment, but it can also be used as a lip balm throughout the day — so you're getting some serious bang for the little buck you spent. An under-eye brightener for when you stayed up way too late watching true crime documentaries and need to trick everyone at brunch into thinking you're well-rested and thriving. It adapts effortlessly to your skin tone to conceal dark circles while delivering a natural, bright finish — just like the Becca Under-Eye Corrector, but this one leaves you some spending money for an extra mimosa. 😉 Or Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Concealer, which is used by even professional makeup artists because of how well it minimizes fine lines, dark spots, and redness. The lightweight formula blends beautifully (made even easier by the built-in sponge applicator), giving you fuller coverage without feeling heavy or cakey! E.l.f. Power Grip Primer that'll have your makeup sticking to your face like its life depends on it. It's infused with hyaluronic acid to keep your skin feeling hydrated and looking plump. Just apply it, wait a quick 30 seconds, and watch as your foundation goes on smoother and lasts way longer than it ever has before. A six-piece set of high-performance matte lipsticks you can trust to stay put through eating, drinking, and everything in between, delivering gorgeous color that lasts. As one reviewer put it: "This functions just like the high-priced lip colors you can find at high-end stores and makes it affordable for all!" Wet n Wild's Megaglo Blushlighter with a soft blush and a radiant highlighter that can be worn alone or layered together for that "just got back from vacation" look. The formula is silky, blendable, and super pigmented (a little goes a long way), and it works beautifully across a range of skin tones. Plus, it's literally less than a latte!! A box of "Zombie" face masks to help hydrate and tighten your skin while reducing the appearance of pores and fine lines. Just apply, let sit for 15 minutes, and rinse to see all the benefits! It's like Hanacure but at a fraction of the price, so you'll realistically be able to add and keep this in your routine. A rainbow eyeshadow palette offering 40 different matte, shimmer, and metallic shades so you can play around and unleash your inner makeup artist *without* having to buy a bunch of pricey palettes. Whether you're feeling subtle or ready to experiment with bold, creative looks, this affordable palette is all you need — all for under $10. 😌 E.l.f.'s Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm to literally melt away every trace of makeup (yes, even waterproof mascara!) without stripping your skin. It's packed with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and ceramides to help leave your face feeling soft, hydrated, and so smooth — and reviewers with sensitive skin give it their seal of approval!

These Dossier Perfumes Rival Luxury Originals for a Fraction of the Price
Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. Fragrance obsessives understand that building a noteworthy collection of scents requires not only a lot of trial and error but also money. That's not to say you can't turn heads with affordable perfumes or that you must spend your life savings testing the most expensive fragrances. When it comes to fragrances, quality, affordable ones can be found in an unexpected source: dupes. Fans of #FragranceTok take perfume shopping seriously—myself included—and perfume dupe culture doesn't always get the best PR. Honestly, I steered clear of dupes because I didn't believe an interpretation of a scent could outdo the original. However, one brand, in particular, is changing how shoppers blind-buy fragrances and giving perfume dupes, err, impressions, a better name: Dossier.'Dossier is a modern fragrance house that makes luxury perfumes without excessive markups. All of our perfumes are made in Grasse, France—the perfume capital of the world—using premium-quality ingredients and all the same traditional practices as designer perfumeries. We're a fragrance company that is truly for everyone, and we don't think quality perfumes should be exclusive to those who can spend upwards of $100 or $200 on a fragrance,' says Ines Guien, vice president of operations at Dossier. The brand breaks its inventory into three categories: Dossier Impressions, Dossier Originals, and Dossier Home. Dossier launched in 2019, making a name for itself as the go-to place for designer-inspired scents. However, in 2023, the brand branched out with Dossier Originals, which develops unique fragrances in-house. If you're looking to test a popular designer scent but would rather pay a fraction of the cost, or you simply want to discover new scents unlike anything in your collection, Dossier has a lineup brimming with exciting aromas that would make any passerby stop to ask for perfume recommendations. We perused our Dossier collections, consulted Dossier's VP of operations, and combed through customer reviews to find the 15 best Dossier fragrances you haven't smelled yet. Key notes: Bitter orange, matcha tea, fig vetiver, cedarwood, musk Size: 1.7 fl oz You don't have to be a matcha lover to indulge in the delicately sweet goodness that is Citrus Matcha. A bright, alluring take on Le Labo's Matcha 26, Citrus Matcha invites you to be still and take in every layer of its composition. Of course, the first whiff is tangy bitter orange, which floats softly to connect with matcha and fig. Upon dry-down, the cedarwood and musk deepen the experience. Dossier rating: 4.2/5 stars An ELLE editor says: 'Citrus Matcha was the first ever Dossier scent I smelled and it was quite the introduction to the brand's other gorgeous offerings. As a lover of all things citrus—lemon and orange happen to be my favorite tangy notes in perfumes—Citrus Matcha has an invigorating limey, orange scent that reminds me of the lingering fragrance peeling the juicy fruit leaves behind.'—Nerisha Penrose, beauty commerce editor Key notes: Pink pepper, pear, rose, oud, vanilla Size: 1.7 fl oz One of Dossier's original scents, this is for those who aren't the biggest fans of rose-scented fragrances but still want to join the bandwagon. Rose softens the deep, sensual scent, powered by warm pink pepper and sultry oud to create a sexy, nocturnal scent perfect for date nights out or in. Dossier rating: 4.5/5 stars An ELLE editor says: 'Something about Oud & Rose on Fire makes me feel like the sexiest-smelling person in the room. And judging by the amount of compliments I've received while wearing this, everyone else can agree, too. The most prominent note, to me, is the pink pepper, which tickles my nose in a comforting way; vanilla and oud extend that comfort further, spilling into each other to create a warmth you'll never want to fade.'—Nerisha Penrose Key notes: Cardamom, incense, orchid, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli Size: 1.7 fl oz Floral perfumes can lean adolescent and sickly-sweet. In this mix, floral notes are sophisticated and dark, fueled by incense, cloves, and sandalwood. Orchid & Sandalwood also has a powdery side; it is short-lived but still memorable. Dossier rating: 4.3/5 stars An ELLE editor says: 'Even though the notes are dark and mystery, this is the type of scent I'd wear during the day. Powdery and soft, yet dark and mysterious, Orchid & Sandalwood at Dusk is my version of a time-release perfume, one that gradually releases each layer of notes throughout the day. It starts off soft with orchid and jasmine but after a few hours, the 'dusk' notes truly shine.'—Nerisha Penrose Key notes: Marine notes, rose, vanilla, orchid, coconut, musk, sandalwood Size: 1.7 fl oz Sun scents remind you of better times, warm-weather adventures, and the cooling cocktail you could drink repeatedly. Aquatic Vanilla by Dossier, an impression of Juliette Has A Gun's Vanilla Vibes, marries land and sea; marine notes take the lead before sweet vanilla and musks add a little heat to the airy scent. Coconut swings in to remind you that summer is year-round with this perfume in your arsenal. An ELLE editor says: 'All I can think about when I smell Aquatic Vanilla is how badly I want to sit on a beach and listen to the sea breeze and ocean waves clashing against the shore. Coconut is one of my favorite summery notes, and I enjoy how mature and playful Aquatic Vanilla is, instead of those cheap, sunscreen-smelling fragrances. This is a clear summer lineup starter, but can definitely be worn no matter the season.'—Nerisha Penrose Key notes: Saffron, orange blossom, jasmine, plum, cedarwood, oakmoss, fir balsam, amber Size: 1. 7 fl oz If you're chronically online, then you've heard of and have bookmarked Baccarat Rouge 540 at some point during your scrolls. Dossier's impression of the cult-favorite scent is a guaranteed winner; a blend of amber notes, from woods to cherry to vetiver, provides a deep and sensual olfactory experience similar to the scent it is inspired by. Dossier rating: 4.3/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'I get SO many compliments on ambry saffron!!! People often ask me if I'm wearing baccarat rouge. I have reccomended this brand and scent to a lot of people! You only need a spray or two and it lasts all day :)' Key notes: Bitter almond, rum, clove, cedarwood, vanilla Size: 1.7 fl oz Culled from its Speakeasy Collection, Golden Rum & Amber's aroma offers the same smoky, sexy vibe as sitting in a dimly lit corner in a jazz club. It's mysterious and awakening, and invites you for another round. Dossier rating: 4.2/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'Very nice. Truly tenderness. Not too feminine and also not too masculine. A complex scent that is INCREDIBLE TO LAYER WITH!' Key notes: Almond, orange blossom, tuberose, tonka bean, vanilla, cocoa Size: 1.7 fl oz For a fresh, playful take on Carolina Herrara's Good Girl, Fruity Almond is a great contender. This perfume packs a burst of fruity florals, like tuberose and orange blossom, as warm vanilla and cocoa round out its sweetness. Dossier rating: 4.5/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'This is a stunning, sensual fragrance. I like to wear it in the evenings, especially when it's chilly outside. This one is rich and gourmand, a real attention-grabber.' Key notes: Bergamot, pink pepper, lemon, ylang ylang, coconut, musks, cedarwood Size: 1.7 fl oz Another sunkissed scent, Aquatic Coconut takes cues from Maison Margiela's Beach Walk, evoking a calming, airy, summery aroma with coconut, aquatic accord, and lemon. On the deeper end, musks and cedarwood emerge as the star players. Dossier rating: 4.2/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'This is another very special fragrance that is very close to the original. It also lasts all day without having to reapply. Truly transports you to a sunny summer day at the pool or beach. Very quickly it has become one of my go tos for this season.' Key notes: Mandarin, sweet pea, jasmine, ylang ylang, peach, sandalwood, musk Size: 1.7 fl oz Fruit Jasmine is fun and flirty, a bright scent that smells like the last few days of spring, when the air is crisp and ripe with the scent of florals in bloom. The blooms in question are sweet pea and jasmine; there's a hint of fruit via peach and mandarin, but ultimately, the woody notes round out the sensorial adventure. Dossier rating: 4.5/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'At first its very mature, but it softens to a clean, fresh, floral scent. I do not get much sweetness or fruitiness, but its still nice. The sweet pea and jasmine are prominent to me.' Key notes: Marshmallow, orange blossom, jasmine, amber, vanilla, musk Even without the rumors that Rihanna's favorite Kilian scent was Love, Don't Be Shy, the scent was a clear standout in anyone's fragrance collection—and now this Dossier impression of the scent can be in yours. The delicate marshmallow fragrance gets heartier with the help of vanilla, amber, and musk. Dossier rating: 4.3/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'My favorite Dossier perfume. Sweet and complex at the same time. Love the longevity.' Key notes: Salted caramel, hazel accord, lavender, violet, orange flower, patchouli, vetiver, suede, ambroxan This scent is exciting and sweet, but not in a cloying, childish way. Gourmand is the prominent note family in this perfume, anchored by vanilla and hazelnut, before lavender enhances the flavor palette further. Dossier rating: 3/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'The one almost makes you smell like a candle, but in the best way possible. A gorgeous blend of melty hazelnut with a generous wave of lavender makes this scent intoxicating!' Key notes: Mandarin, neroli, jasmine, lavender, orange blossom, vanilla, musk If you love YSL Libre, take this Dossier impression for a spin. Floral Lavender is a seesaw of tangy and warm notes. On the tangy side, neroli, orange blossom, and mandarin give the rather sophisticated scent a playful edge. Speaking of sophistication, deeper notes like vanilla, musk, and amber lift up the sultriness of the composition. Dossier rating: 4.6/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'I NEVER write reviews but absolutely had to for this one. (especially bc I relied so heavily on these reviews before buying it) to say I'm obsessed is an understatement. I worked a whole bartending shift, went to bed, and woke up STILL being able to smell this perfume on my skin. This is an exact replica of YSL libre and will forever be my staple scent <3' Key notes: Marine notes, ambrette, clary sage, grapefruit Size: 1.7 fl oz Allow this scent to take you deep into the damp woods. Marine notes and mineral salty accord mimic the scent of dew on the leaves, while amber and sage create a minty, refreshing aroma perfect for spring mornings. Dossier rating: 4.4/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'This scent is very fresh. I have been carrying this scent with me when I am out and about, spraying myself before I enter any business. I love catching whiffs of this scent during the day.' Key notes: Cherry, almond, cloves, tonka bean, vanilla Anyone who's smelled Tom Ford's Lost Cherry knows it's a scent that stops you in your tracks. Dossier's iteration of the scent amps up the cherry, making it dark and intriguing to complement the deep woods in the profile. Dossier rating: 4.4/5 stars A Dossier reviewer said: 'Spot on to the original Tom Ford scent! Last a long time. I get lots of compliments. I am very much enjoying this fragrance.' Dossier allows customers to Scent Quiz to introduce them to a Dossier scent tailored to their palette. 'If you really don't know where to start, we have a scent quiz on that asks a few questions to gauge what you like (and dislike) and recommends scents we know you'll love based on these preferences. Once you get your recommendations, we also recommend complimentary scents you can layer with to create your signature scent,' Guien explains. Even better, Dossier doesn't believe in gendering its scents, so everyone can mix and match freely. 'I always say, each of our fragrances can be worn by anyone. I'm a big believer that fragrance shouldn't be gendered, which is the concept behind our Dossier Originals. Each collection within Dossier Originals features perfumes that were designed to be totally unisex. This is even more obvious in our Genderless Collection, which blends traditionally 'feminine' with traditionally 'masculine' scents for unique blends that can be worn by anyone at any time. Our price point is also super accessible with our fragrances starting at $29. We really believe discovering luxury, premium perfumes shouldn't cost an exorbitant price,' Guien adds. The 'perfect scent' is so personal! I recommend smelling different scents to find what you're drawn to. Then, I would start testing different perfumes with those ingredients. Once you feel comfortable, play around with layering fragrances to create a scent that is unique to you. Fragrance reacts differently with everyone's pheromones, so a perfume you love on your best friend you may not like on yourself. Finding your perfect scent is all about experimenting and finding what works best for you,' Guien says. Inez Guien is the VP of operations at Dossier. As a leading publisher of fashion, lifestyle, and beauty content, is committed to highlighting the best products in various categories by personally testing the latest and most innovative products, interviewing countless experts, and vetting customer-loved items. For this piece, beauty commerce editor Nerisha Penrose personally tested a few Dossier scents and consulted a fragrance expert to find the best Dossier fragrances on the market. Identity of right-hand man who 'knows all Vladimir Putin's secrets' revealed
Boris Chalov, 66, an FSO federal protection service adjutant, has been the Kremlin's closest aide-de-camp for decades - helping him with both state affairs and everyday issues The identity of the man who 'knows all Vladimir Putin 's secrets' after having closely worked with him for decades has been revealed. Boris Chalov, 66, an FSO federal protection service adjutant, has been the Kremlin 's closest aide-de-camp for more than 20 years, helping him with both state affairs and the 'most delicate everyday problems'. The right-hand man undertook duties minding Putin's longtime lover, Olympic rhythmic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, 41, on her trips, reveals a new report by Dossier Centre investigative news outlet. Kabaeva has two sons - Ivan, ten, and Vladimir junior, five - with Putin, but her role as Russia 's first lady living behind the walls of his palaces remains officially undisclosed to ordinary people. Chalov was also trusted with escorting Putin's earlier lover Svetlana Krivonogikh, 50, a cleaner turned £75 million multimillionaire, who now holds shares in a top bank and owns a prominent St Petersburg striptease club. This pair entered into a relationship whilst Putin was married to ex-first lady Lyudmila, mother of his eldest daughters Maria Vorontsova, 39, and Katerina Tikhonova, 38. From the relationship with Krivonogikh, Putin has another daughter Luiza, 22, who is believed to have lived in the West for at least part of the war against Ukraine. Chalov 'has been working with Putin for more than 20 years and probably knows all his secrets', said Dossier Centre. The role of adjutant was to 'help him with both state affairs and everyday issues'. Before his retirement on a £6,800-a-month pension, Chalov was 'a constant companion of the Russian leader', yet he still remains 'close to the head of state'. When Putin hosted the FIFA World Cup final 2018, the aide-de-camp was sitting right behind him and French president Emmanuel Macron. While also helping the Russian ruler with work issues, Chalov also solved his 'most delicate everyday problems', a Dossier source close to the special services said. After his stint in the army, he is believed to have met Putin whilst working as a bodyguard for a mafia-linked company Baltic Escort in gangster-ridden 1990s St Petersburg, where Putin was deputy mayor. Chalov later was employed by the FSO, an agency responsible for guarding Putin and other top officials. 'The guard was entrusted with Vladimir Putin 's main secret - his beloved women. And two at once,' reported Dossier Centre. 'For many years, he accompanied the most important people in Vladimir Putin's entourage, including the mother of his sons, Alina Kabaeva.' Records of such trips have come to light from between 2014 and 2016. 'The adjutant also knew the mother of another of Vladimir Putin's children,' said the report. 'He travelled from Moscow to St. Petersburg twice with Svetlana Krivonogikh, who owns a stake in Bank Rossiya and who gave birth to a daughter from the head of state. One of their joint trips was a flight in December 2001.' Chalov's pension is 'unusual' because it is paid by Krivonogikh's bank. 'The former adjutant is also well acquainted with the founder of this bank and Putin's close friend, Yuri Kovalchuk, who is responsible for many presidential palaces,' reported Dossier Centre. 'He not only worked for Rossiya in the late 1990s, but also travelled with the businessman.'
