Identity of right-hand man who 'knows all Vladimir Putin's secrets' revealed

Boris Chalov, 66, an FSO federal protection service adjutant, has been the Kremlin's closest aide-de-camp for decades - helping him with both state affairs and everyday issues
The identity of the man who 'knows all Vladimir Putin 's secrets' after having closely worked with him for decades has been revealed. Boris Chalov, 66, an FSO federal protection service adjutant, has been the Kremlin 's closest aide-de-camp for more than 20 years, helping him with both state affairs and the 'most delicate everyday problems'.
The right-hand man undertook duties minding Putin's longtime lover, Olympic rhythmic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, 41, on her trips, reveals a new report by Dossier Centre investigative news outlet. Kabaeva has two sons - Ivan, ten, and Vladimir junior, five - with Putin, but her role as Russia 's first lady living behind the walls of his palaces remains officially undisclosed to ordinary people.

Chalov was also trusted with escorting Putin's earlier lover Svetlana Krivonogikh, 50, a cleaner turned £75 million multimillionaire, who now holds shares in a top bank and owns a prominent St Petersburg striptease club.

This pair entered into a relationship whilst Putin was married to ex-first lady Lyudmila, mother of his eldest daughters Maria Vorontsova, 39, and Katerina Tikhonova, 38. From the relationship with Krivonogikh, Putin has another daughter Luiza, 22, who is believed to have lived in the West for at least part of the war against Ukraine.
Chalov 'has been working with Putin for more than 20 years and probably knows all his secrets', said Dossier Centre. The role of adjutant was to 'help him with both state affairs and everyday issues'. Before his retirement on a £6,800-a-month pension, Chalov was 'a constant companion of the Russian leader', yet he still remains 'close to the head of state'.
When Putin hosted the FIFA World Cup final 2018, the aide-de-camp was sitting right behind him and French president Emmanuel Macron.
While also helping the Russian ruler with work issues, Chalov also solved his 'most delicate everyday problems', a Dossier source close to the special services said. After his stint in the army, he is believed to have met Putin whilst working as a bodyguard for a mafia-linked company Baltic Escort in gangster-ridden 1990s St Petersburg, where Putin was deputy mayor.

Chalov later was employed by the FSO, an agency responsible for guarding Putin and other top officials. 'The guard was entrusted with Vladimir Putin 's main secret - his beloved women.
And two at once,' reported Dossier Centre. 'For many years, he accompanied the most important people in Vladimir Putin's entourage, including the mother of his sons, Alina Kabaeva.'
Records of such trips have come to light from between 2014 and 2016. 'The adjutant also knew the mother of another of Vladimir Putin's children,' said the report.
'He travelled from Moscow to St. Petersburg twice with Svetlana Krivonogikh, who owns a stake in Bank Rossiya and who gave birth to a daughter from the head of state. One of their joint trips was a flight in December 2001.'
Chalov's pension is 'unusual' because it is paid by Krivonogikh's bank. 'The former adjutant is also well acquainted with the founder of this bank and Putin's close friend, Yuri Kovalchuk, who is responsible for many presidential palaces,' reported Dossier Centre.
'He not only worked for Rossiya in the late 1990s, but also travelled with the businessman.'

It's outrageous' Credit: PA Jamie Jenkins, who did the research, said: 'This isn't just unsustainable. It's outrageous. "A government that borrows billions each year, can't control borders, and taxes its citizens to pay for hotel rooms and housing for people who've just arrived is not working for the British public. 'It's time for a system that protects the people who pay in. That rewards contribution. That puts citizens first." Latest figures show there were 32,345 asylum seekers staying in up to 220 hotel. It costs £41,000 a year to house each, up from £17,000 in 2020. Ex-Office for National Statistics analyst Mr Jenkins found the average UK salary was £38,224. Each worker pays income tax and National Insurance contributions of £8,081. So 582,000's entire tax bills go on housing migrants — equal to the working population of Manchester. And it is significantly larger than the employed populations of Nottingham, Sheffield and Leeds. The total is also higher than the tax contributions of every UK mechanic and HGV driver combined. A total £4.7billion went on asylum support in 2023-24 — £3.1billion on accomodation. 13 migrants jumped from the back of a lorry at a Sainsbury's distribution centre in South East London The rest went on grants to local authorities, running sites like the disused Bibby Stockholm barge in Dorset, plus £49-a-week subsistence allowance. The £4.7billion total was up from 2022-23's £3.6bn. Nearly 15,000 people have crossed to Dover in 2025, up 42 per cent on this time year. French cops, given £480million of UK taxpayer cash, are failing to intercept them.

Two dead as car plunges 300ft off cliff in beauty spot horror

According to reports, the incident happened in full view of horrified onlookers. Two people have been killed after a vehicle plunged 300ft from a cliff at a popular coastal beauty spot. On Friday evening, a silver vehicle plummeted down the cliff face before hitting the water. Tonight, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police have confirmed that the incident at Alum Bay resulted in the deaths of two people. ‌ The horrific crash sparked a huge emergency response, with coastguard ships, police, firefighters and paramedics all racing to the scene. It has been reported that a man was dragged from the water, however, further details about his conditions were unknown until tonight. ‌ According to reports, the incident happened in full view of horrified onlookers. It comes as people gathered in the Isle of Wight for The Round the Island Race - a one-day yacht race around the island. The race still went ahead yesterday, despite the route passing through Alum Bay. The wreckage of the car - which had its roof and bonnet crumpled - could be seen partially submerged in the coastal waters in dramatic images of the aftermath, reports The Isle of Wight County Press. On Friday, police released a statement, which read: "We're currently at the scene of a serious incident in Totland. "We were called at 7.21pm this evening (Friday, June 6) after a car, which was being driven along Alum Bay New Road, left the road, came off the cliff top and came to rest in the water below." The site of the horror incident is near the Isle of Wight Needles - a famed landmark in the area of three stacks of chalk jutting out of the water. Only yesterday, an inquest heard how a 12-year-old boy slipped in a puddle and lost his balance by the edge of a cliff before plunging to his death. French tourist Marion Tourgon described the moment young Zhihan Zhao tragically died after an accident at the Cliffs of Moher in western Ireland, on July 23, 2024. The 12-year-old had set out on a walk with his mum, Xianhong Huang, and friends on the Cliffs of Moher trail but the stroll turned fatal at around 1.45pm. The Chinese nationals had only arrived to Ireland 12 days before the tragic incident, and were visiting one of the country's most popular attractions. The mum said her son was walking ahead of her on the trail when she had lost sight of him. She told how they started walking from the Nagle's car park in Liscannor, and said: "My son walked very fast and was ahead of us by 50 metres. As there was only one path I thought we would meet him along the way. When I didn't I walked to the visitor centre and I checked the visitor centre."

Freedom Flotilla tracker live as Greta Thunberg aims to break Israel's aid seige

An aid boat carrying some of the biggest activists including Greta Thunberg is just 150 nautical miles from Gaza, campaigners have revealed. The vessel, dubbed Madleen, aims to break the sea blockade of Gaza and deliver humanitarian support to thousands of people. The boat, which is being operated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, left Sicily last Sunday, with the aim to reach Gaza's territorial waters by the end of this week. Thunberg, who is amongst 12 activists aboard the ship, earlier called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. 'We will try to break the siege and open humanitarian corridors to Gaza,' she said. In an update on the ship's whereabouts, human rights campaigner Yasemin Acar said they were close, but warned: "We could be cut out from the world any moment.' She said on Telegram: "We believe that we will reach Gaza, and that's why it's so important that you all play your part in this to make sure that there is no interception. Contact your local politicians. Contact everyone you know, everyone who is in power, everyone that you voted into power. They have the power, first and foremost, to stop this genocide, then they have power to lift this illegal siege." It comes as Israel's defence minister Israel Katz said on Sunday that Israel will not allow anyone to break its naval blockade of the Palestinian territory, which he said is aimed at preventing Hamas from importing arms. He said in a statement: 'To the antisemitic Greta and her fellow Hamas propagandists – I will say this clearly: You should turn back, because you will not make it to Gaza.' Rima Hassan, a French member of the European Parliament who is of Palestinian descent, is among the others onboard. She has been barred from entering Israel because of her opposition to Israeli policies towards the Palestinians. After a three-month total blockade aimed at pressuring Hamas, Israel started allowing some basic aid into Gaza last month, but humanitarian workers have warned of famine unless the blockade and the war end. An attempt last month by Freedom Flotilla to reach Gaza by sea failed after another of the group's vessels was attacked by two drones while sailing in international waters off Malta. The group blamed Israel for the attack, which damaged the front section of the ship. To follow the Madleen vessel on its journey, visit the official Freedom Flotilla tracker here.
