Jodie Kidd packs on the PDA with fiancé Joseph Bates as they are joined by her sister Jemma and Lisa Snowdon at his 40th birthday party

Jodie Kidd and her fiancé Joseph Bates looked more loved-up than ever on Saturday night, as they celebrated his 40th birthday with a star-studded bash in London's Park Lane. The supermodel, 46, shared a passionate kiss with the former Royal Marine as she pulled out all the stops to ring in his milestone birthday. She cut a typically dazzling figure for the night in a silver sequinned top with an intricately beaded and fringed cape over the top. Jodie teamed it with a pair of patterned blue jeans and ensured she towered even higher than the rest of the guests with a pair of bold multicoloured heels. While the birthday boy looked effortlessly dapper in a black T-shirt and jeans under a a smart blazer and a baseball cap. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Joseph couldn't seem to keep his hands off his stunning fiancée, and looked on cloud nine as she presented him with a huge cake, decorated with raspberries. Joining the couple for the celebration were Jodie's lookalike sister and fellow model Jemma, 50, who put on a busty display in a plunging black top and jeans. Jodie was also seen warmly embracing Lisa Snowdon, who looked sophisticated in a black satin blazer and matching jumper, and was accompanied by her fiancé George Smart. Actor Dougray Scott and Alice Temperley were also spotted having fun while mingling with the guests at the glitzy bash. And TV presenter Zoe Hardman turned heads, looking radiant in a strapless metallic gold top and figure-hugging jeans. Jodie and Joseph have been together for eight years, first being seen together in Barbados in October 2017, after she accompanied him on a disaster relief mission to Dominica after Hurricane Irma. The former marine and special forces soldier then popped the question four years later during a romantic trip to Paris. Confirming the happy news in December 2021, Jodie shared a photo flashing her sparkling ring while kissing Joseph in front of the Arc de Triomphe, with the caption: 'I said Yes'. It marks Jodie's third engagement, after splitting from her first husband, internet entrepreneur Aidan Butler, after 18 months in 2007 and second husband David Blakeley in 2015 after just four months. She is also mum to 13-year-old son, Indio, by her ex-partner, former Argentinian polo player Andrea Vianini, while Joseph also has a son from a previous relationship. However, the pair are yet to tie the knot four years on, previously admitting 'it's been a bit of a whirlwind the last couple of years'. Speaking to OK! in October, Jodie confessed the pair have still not set a date to become husband and wife as they are too busy. She said: 'Oh my God, it is going very slowly. Very slowly! Nothing is happening in the immediate future and not because I don't want it to, but I am just so busy. 'I think it would be too much trying to arrange a wedding right now. Hopefully, next year.' Revealing the secret to their long-standing romance, she explained: 'We've got just such a wonderful, balanced, supportive relationship. Those are the best ones. We always make time for date nights. We have a little date routine where we go to the cinema together. 'We have to run as a team, and we do that beautifully. We always make time for each other. We always try to do things together as much as we can. 'So, you know, if we're going on the school run, we'll do it together. Dinner time is really important. The whole family comes around the table and helps to cook, and we talk about our day, and have a laugh.' While Jodie added that their children have made them even closer, gushing: 'We've both got a son, so we just have to work as a team but they are intertwined literally. They're so beautiful as well.'

Chatelherault walk aims to boost Parkinson's support

The charity has launched its biggest-ever fundraiser, the Nurse Appeal, aiming to raise £9 million to fund specialist nurses and improve care for people living with Parkinson's across the UK. The walk, which is part of the charity's Walk for Parkinson's series, will take place at Chatelherault Country Park on June 7 and is open to people of all ages and abilities. (Image: Supplied) The charity said that more than 30,000 people with the condition currently lack access to specialist care. The Nurse Appeal aims to secure essential initial funding over the next three years to create new nurse posts and specialist roles, as well as provide training and education for healthcare professionals. Dougray Scott, an actor and supporter of Parkinson's UK, said: "Parkinson's is a degenerative and incurable neurological condition and people living with it, and their loved ones, rely on vital support from specialist nurses and other healthcare professionals. "Sadly that support simply isn't available for thousands of people and that has to change. (Image: Supplied) "I'm proud to support Parkinson's UK and its Nurse Appeal, and I urge people to kindly donate what they can. "Together, we can help secure specialist Parkinson's care for the thousands more people who urgently need it." Mr Scott's father lived with the condition for many years. Also supporting the appeal is Parkinson's UK ambassador and former Sky Sports presenter Dave Clark, who was diagnosed with the condition at 44. He said: "I have been living with Parkinson's for over 14 years, but it still doesn't define me. "I'm determined to stay positive and embrace life. "Join me and thousands of others taking part in Walk for Parkinson's. "Every step we take together helps support people living with Parkinson's." He has raised more than £200,000 through his fundraising walks alone. It costs £12 to sign up for Walk for Parkinson's, with a suggested sponsorship target of £100 per person. All walkers will receive a fundraising pack and an exclusive Walk for Parkinson's t-shirt to wear on the day. To sign up or volunteer, go to or email walk@

Netflix fans obsessed with 'twisted Taken' movie that's beaten Tom Hardy film

Netflix's latest action thriller starring Scottish actor Dougray Scott has been dubbed a twisted mix of John Wick and Taken by viewers. Netflix viewers are hooked on a gripping new action thriller that's being hailed as a 'twisted Taken', so much that it's even outperforming a recent Tom Hardy blockbuster. Exterritorial landed on the streaming platform just days after Hardy's Havoc debut. Despite Havoc quickly climbing to the top of Netflix's most-watched movie charts, it has already been dethroned. The film that's achieved this is the German-made Exterritorial. ‌ It's currently sitting at number one in both the US and UK as the most viewed movie among subscribers, nudging Havoc down a spot in both regions. ‌ Exterritorial tells the story of ex-Special Forces soldier Sara, played by Jeanne Goursaud, whose young son mysteriously disappears during a visit to the US consulate in Frankfurt, reports the Mirror. Adding to the mystery, no one seems to remember him ever entering the building. Sara realises that the German authorities have no jurisdiction within the consulate, and if she's forced to leave, she may never see her son again. Unaware of a sinister conspiracy unfolding around her, Sara delves deeper into the consulate's labyrinth in a desperate search for her son. Viewers may recognise Goursaud from her role in the Netflix series Barbarians. She shares the screen with Scottish actor Dougray Scott, known for his roles in The Crow Girls, X-Men, and as the villain in Taken 3. The movie is quickly drawing parallels with the Liam Neeson-led franchise for its compelling storyline and electrifying sequences. According to Movie Web, "Netflix continues to deliver exactly what many action movie fans are looking for with its latest foray into the genre, which is streaming on the platform now. Taking its cues from the beloved Liam Neeson-led action thriller Taken, but with more twists and turns." ‌ Tom's Guide also gives a nod to fans of Taken, asserting: "What Exterritorial lacks in narrative surprises, it more than makes up for in its action sequences and tension-building. There's plenty to enjoy in this action-thriller, especially if you're in the mood for a fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping ride." Critics have admitted that while the film might not be groundbreaking, it still offers solid entertainment. One critic said: "The situations are far-fetched... a ton of plot conveniences are introduced into the storytelling... the arcs get a little too convoluted for their own good... and the ending exposition dump is uninspired. And despite all that, I was still mostly entertained." ‌ Audiences on Netflix aren't holding back their opinions either, with one enthusiastic viewer writing on social media: "Wow wow wow. 10000/100. Watch this movie! ! Loved it. It's like a mix of Taken and Extraction but with a female protagonist." One viewer was unexpectedly delighted, sharing: "You ever click on a random movie and then sit there like 'Wait... this is actually GOOD'? That was me with Exterritorial. Totally worth it!". Another fan expressed their excitement on social media, posting: "Just watched Exterritorial on Netflix a gritty German action-thriller packed with raw fight scenes and a fierce performance by Jeanne Goursaud. Think John Wick meets Taken, but with a mother's rage. Plot's a bit familiar, but the action hits hard. Worth it."
