Walkathon organised to mark World Organ Donation Day
Over 400 people participated in an awareness walkathon, organised by Rela Hospital to commemorate World Organ Donation Day, in Chennai on Wednesday. The event saw participants from all walks of life, including college students, doctors, and hospital staff. The walkathon aimed to raise awareness on organ donation and encourage individuals to become donors. The 5-km walkathon was flagged off at Rela Hospital and ended at Madras Export Processing Zone in Tambaram. Samay Singh Meena, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Tambaram Commissionerate, flagged off the walkathon along with Dr. D.C.
