Fisheries varsity V-C pays tribute to freedom fighters
The 79th Independence Day was celebrated at the Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) here on Friday. Vice-Chancellor N. Felix hoisted the national flag and in his address paid tributes to freedom fighters, emphasised the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, and called for self-reliance through indigenous technologies.
Patriotic cultural performances were presented by students of the College of Fisheries Engineering. Registrar P. Chidambaram welcomed the gathering and Dean (in-charge) N. Manimehalai proposed the vote of thanks.
