'All Stars 10's Phoenix doesn't hold back after Ice Spice questions her drag legacy

The first two episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 introduced us to a new tournament-style format (that we love), and the first six queens in the orange bracket gave us everything from looks to death drops to a brand-new feud heating up the interwebs. In the first episode, Ice Spice served as a guest judge, and the lip sync for the win between Aja and Irene the Alien was her most popular song, 'Think U The Sh*t (Fart).' See on Instagram During the judge's critiques, Ice Spice had a few things to say about the performance from Drag Race superstar Phoenix, who has made her first appearance on the show since season 3. 'I hear you're a legendary icon, but tonight I don't think I would have been able to tell with how shy you were,' she said. See on Instagram Although Phoenix took it in stride on stage and even let Ice Spice play with her fake breasts during Untucked, she took to her Instagram story after the episode aired to tell us how she really felt about the comment. 'I appreciate the love from everyone about the Ice Spice comment,' she wrote, adding that she would 'tell the funny part about this later.' However, she also said to trust her as she continued, 'My 25 years of experience and decades of contributing to my community is what makes me an ICON! Not 3 minutes on a tv show.' She went on to say she was 'perfectly fine' not getting 'icon validation' from 'someone who's [sic] 'fame' has come from 1 song about sh*tting and farting.' Screenshot via Instagram @phoenix_atl And I oop! To be fair, Ice Spice wasn't the only judge who commented on Phoenix's shyness in the episode, so she wasn't necessarily alone in her overall critique. Questioning her role as a legend in the space, however, was a little off-putting to fans. As of this writing, Ice Spice has yet to respond to the clapback, and Phoenix has yet to divulge what 'the funny part' about all of this is. New 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10' bracket rules and point system twist explained

RuPaul introduced new rules for the returning queens on All Stars 10. The contestants will be divided into three brackets that will whittle down to three stars each. A new point-based twist was introduced at the end of the episode, which could change the thought drag queens were good at math? Guess what, Mimi, they're not — but RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 changed the rules for its new bracket-style tournament anyway, and threw in a numbers-based point system twist to top it all off. Friday's premiere episode saw RuPaul sprout a mustache as he sat at the panel in boy drag to deliver news of the format's rules to returning queens Aja, Bosco, DeJa Skye, Irene the Alien, Olivia Lux, and Phoenix, all of whom comprised the first of All Stars 10 three separate six-queen groups. "In the preliminary rounds, no one will be eliminated," RuPaul told the contestants. "Instead, you'll be competing for points. At the end of this three-episode bracket, the three all-stars with the most points form this bracket will advance to the semi-finals, where you will face off against the top-three all-stars from the other brackets." In essence, only three queens from each six-queen bracket will advance to the next round, where the queens will compete until they're whittled down to a final two. "In the final lip-sync smackdown for the crown, the top all-stars will battle it out for the grand prize of $200,000. Yes, honey, that's a lot of full-coverage foundation," RuPaul continued, while season 9 and All Stars 3 alum Aja reacted with excitement: "Baby, we're going to have to fight to the death,' the New York City queen exclaimed. Ru elaborated further on the scoring system, telling the queens that points will be distributed several times per episode. The top two queens of the week will get two points each, and that pair will then lip-sync for the overall victory that comes with an additional point and a $10,000 tip. As usual, though, Ru wasn't done there. "There is more. An additional four points will be awarded each episode. But, more on that later," Ru teased to the shocked queens at the top of the premiere. Later, after a metal-themed music challenge, Aja and Irene were named the top queens of the week. Upon deeming Aja to be the top all-star, RuPaul expanded upon the point system's extra layer. "All-stars, with great power comes great responsibility. Each week, the bottom four queens will each receive one point, but here's the twist: You can't keep the point for yourself," Ru told the girls. "You must give it away to the all-star you believe is the MVQ: the Most Valuable Queen of the week. I'll leave it up to each of you to decide which all-star deserves your MVQ point." Ru then reiterated that at the end of the first three episodes, three queens among the group would be eliminated before the second bracket entered the Werk Room to compete on episodes 4-6. In an exclusive group interview with Entertainment Weekly (above), the cast reacted to the format change with a range of emotions, with some using it as a chance to playfully jab their sisters, and others seeing the changes as an opportunity to develop new strategies that haven't been seen on the show in the past. "For a lot of girls, this was the first time they ever felt like they were [in the] top six, and it showed, and I loved it,' Aja joked, while season 14 finalist Bosco said she feels the AS10 competition is a "more fair experience going into All Stars" that equalizes the competitors, after some queens are on their third (Aja, Jorgeous, Cynthia Lee Fontaine) and even fourth (Ginger Minj) seasons.'I think being in a smaller group, there's more chance to focus on everything.... you're able to keep your eye on the girls a little bit more," season 13's Tina Burner added. "I can watch every one of them and all the shady s--- they're trying to do, and know who to not talk to and who to keep at a tender distance.' 7 times lesbian and sapphic 'Drag Race' guest judges stole the show

Drag Race All Stars 10 is about to premier and the celebrity guest judge list is full of queer women we can't wait to see them critique the queens! Chappell Roan, Ice Spice, and Cynthia Erivo are all stepping up to the judges panel, but Drag Race has hosted lesbian and sapphic guests since the inception of the show and they've always been iconic. There have been hilarious moments, biting critiques, and undercover werkroom capers that have kept us glued to our screens every season. But what were the best moments of the last 17 seasons? s_bukley/Shutterstock Jenny Shimizu Model and former Angelina Jolie paramour Jenny Shimizu set the standard on season 1 when she told BeBe Zahara Benet that she 'would completely be doing coke with you if this was the '90s.' DFree/Shutterstock Lily Tomlin Lesbian comedian Lily Tomlin joined her Grace and Frankie co-star Jane Fonda on All Stars 3, where the two funny ladies judged the queens who dressed up as some of their most iconic characters. The level of camp was high as the girls dressed up as characters from 9 to 5 and Fonda's '80s leotard-clad workout videos. - YouTube When bisexual rapper Doechii was a guest judge on season 17, Lexi Love and Crystal Envy lip-synced to her song 'Alter Ego,' which led to the song surging in the charts. Kathy Hutchins/Shutterstock Cassandra Peterson Cassandra Peterson (AKA Elvira), may not have come out until 2021 when she announced she has been in a 19-year-long relationship with a woman, but she has been a repeat guest on Drag Race for years. In 2019, she joined the judge's panel for the season 11 'Monster Ball' episode where the queens created looks for a Halloween-themed ball and Peterson judged them while dressed in her signature Elvira wig, and plunging black dress. - YouTube Pop star Miley Cyrus was an iconic guest on Drag Race season 11 where she not only critiqued the queens from the judge's table, but she went undercover in the werkroom with short hair and faux facial hair pretending to be a production before Silk Nutmeg Ganache realized who it was. Kathy Hutchins/Shutterstock Fortune Feimster In season 11, comedian Fortune Feimster and fellow guest judge Cheyenne Jackson helped the queens with an improv comedy challenge on the streets of LA, and the results were messy and hilarious, in large part because of Feimster's ability to 'yes, and…' If you haven't seen Silk Nutmeg Ganache running a back-alley butt pad business out of the trunk of her car you need to check it out ASAP! Este es el mejor dia de mi vida #aubreyplaza #dragrace #rupaulsdragrace Agatha All Along star Aubrey Plaza joined RuPaul on the judge's panel for the season 2 episode 'Family that Drags Together,' where the queens had to give members of their drag family makeovers. Plaza used her signature brand of dark humor and flat delivery to have us laughing during her critiques. But it was her line, 'This is the greatest day of my life. I'm killing myself tomorrow,' that people really remember.

New Criminal Minds Season 18 Trailer Features a ‘Badass' JJ, Reveals Special Guest Star

Criminal Minds: Evolution not only has set a premiere date for Season 18, but it has already been renewed for a 19th season, by Paramount+. More from TVLine RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 Will Be Special Tournament of Champions - Full Cast Revealed First NCIS: Tony & Ziva Trailer Features Disguises, a McGee Shoutout and More SkyMed Season 3 Gets Paramount+ Binge-Drop Date - Watch Trailer Season 18 will premiere Thursday, May 8 with one episode, followed by new episodes dropping weekly. Watch a new trailer above, which kicks off with an always-unsettling 'buried alive' scenario… has JJ (franchise vet A.J. Cook) championing her 'badass' self… and reveals a guest-starring appearance by the late Linda Lavin, in an undisclosed role. Season 18 picks up six months after fellow inmates attacked the notorious Sicarius Killer aka Elias Voit (played by Zach Gilford), leading his restless followers on the dark web to begin wreaking havoc all over the country. In order to stop this nefarious group from killing more innocents, the BAU is forced to once again work in concert with an increasingly unpredictable Voit, who of course has his own agenda. Production on Season 18 wrapped back on Dec. 13, barely four months after filming ramped back up on the series. 'We're back, Profilers!' the crime drama's Instagram announced in August 2024, while also sharing seven BTS photos from Season 18 — including a couple of looks at JJ Jareau's return to a side part hairstyle (seen above), which the well-tressed Special Agent last rocked as recently as Season 9 (one Twitter follower told me). With a premiere date and trailer now in hand, here is everything we know about Criminal Minds Season 18…. The BAU's elite team of profilers will again be comprised of Emily Prentiss (played by Paget Brewster), David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), 'JJ' Jareau (A.J. Cook), Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler) and Luke Alvez (Adam Rodriguez). Also back for another go-round is Ryan-James Hatanaka as onetime person of interest Tyler Green (who last season was veritably deputized as an unofficial BAU helper), and Zach Gilford as captured serial killer Elias Voit. When the Paramount+ sequel series debuted in November 2022, a line of dialogue established that Matthew Gray Gubler's Spencer Reid and Daniel Henney's Matt Simmons have been away on an assignment. Given that little time has passed over the first two Evolution seasons, away on an assignment they both have stayed. Until now. As TVLine reported in mid-December, Gubler — who stars in the CBS drama pilot Einstein, which is waiting on a series order — will return to Criminal Minds for part of one Season 18 episode. Lucifer and Dexter alum Aimee Garcia has a multi-episode arc as Dr. Julia Ochoa, a leading neuropsychiatrist who is 'assigned to help a high-profile patient recover from his injury-induced brain trauma.' Is it me, or does that very much sound like she will be treating serial killer Elias Voit, who in the Season 17 finale was released to gen pop under a pseudonym and promptly took a brutal beating once word leaked out about who he really is…? Showrunner Erica Messer told TVLine that whereas not much time passed across Evolution's first two seasons, a full 'six months' will have passed when Season 18 opens. As indicated above by the news of Zach Gilford's return, 'we still have Voit in our life,' Messer said, but Season 18 promises to be 'a bit more hybrid…. This [next] season will feel a little different, where we're solving standalone 'Catch the Bad Guy' cases.' And though Voit is now behind bars, the BAU agents, after two seasons of cleaning up his murderous messes, 'don't come up for air,' Messer noted. 'It's different this season but it's still a lot. More things happen to this team, but it's a different kind of pace, a different exhaustion.' Criminal Minds Season 18 will span another 10 episodes, as did Evolution's first two cycles. Filming wrapped in mid-December 2024 on the new season, which will premiere Thursday, May 8 (with new episodes dropping weekly). Criminal Minds: Evolution fans got a big surprise last June, when Paramount+ renewed the long-running crime drama for Season 18 ahead of its Season 17 premiere. At the time that filming wrapped on Season 18, franchise vet Paget Brewster was bullish on getting even more cases to crack, sharing on social media, 'We are optimistic we'll get a Season 19.' Indeed, not three months later, Paramount+ officially greenlit Season 19, well ahead of Season 18's premiere date. A revival of CBS' long-running procedural, Criminal Minds: Evolution streams exclusively on Paramount+. The first two seasons dropped new episodes weekly, on Thursdays. All 17 seasons of CBS' Criminal Minds and its Evolution follow-up series can be found and streamed on Paramount+.Best of TVLine Weirdest TV Crossovers: Always Sunny Meets Abbott, Family Guy vs. Simpsons, Nine-Nine Recruits New Girl and More ER Turns 30: See the Original County General Crew, Then and Now The Best Streaming Services in 2024: Disney+, Hulu, Max and More
