Brooke Vincent looked incredible as she celebrated her 33rd birthday with a holiday to Santorini, Greece. The actress, who played Sophie Webster in Coronation Street, wore a plunging bikini top for the Instagram update. Sharing a series of selfies from the beach, she posed beneath a straw umbrella with the wind in her hair. Brooke went makeup free for the snaps, accessorised her bikini with layers of necklaces and styled her hair into waves. 'Another year around the sun on the look out for some garage music,' she wrote. Brooke played Sophie Webster in Coronation Street from 2004 to 2019 and made up one half of the soap's first ever lesbian couple with Sian Powers (Sacha Parkinson). The pair, who started off as pals, were due to tie the knot - but Sophie ran away at the altar when the guilt of kissing Amber Kalirai got too much for her. Last year Brooke starred in ITV's celebrity reality programme Drama Queens before the show was axed after just four months. Her concerns about spending too much time away from her children played a hand in the decision to end the series so soon. During one scene Brooke broke down in tears over her 'mum guilt' after her mum informs her that one of her two boys has come down with a sickness. Brooke, who shares sons Mexx, five, and Monroe, three, with fiancé Kean Bryan, 28, tells viewers: 'The only reason I am trying not to cry is because my eyes will go all red. And then I'll have to meet new people with red eyes…' Later she begins to cry, saying: 'At that point, I was like instantly overwhelmed. 'It makes me upset because I think… I get such mum guilt.' 'It is really rubbish. Ultimately there is nothing really that I could have done to predict he was going to be poorly.' She added: 'It'll will be fine. He has literally just been sick. I think it's just.. I constantly think, is it right that I go back to work.' Later laughing it off, she said: God, I am an absolute mess. My life's a mess!' Drama Queens aimes to provide viewers with 'an exclusive journey into the lives of Britain's soap royalty'. It will featured personalities from Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Emmerdale 'taking viewers beyond the scripted drama of the screen' and into their real lives.

Barbara Alyn Woods revealed she was only supposed to be on 'One Tree Hill' for three episodes She declined an offer to be on another show to take a chance on the teen drama Woods ended up starring on 'OTH' for the majority of the show's nine-season runBarbara Alyn Woods originally wasn't supposed to be on One Tree Hill for more than three episodes. Woods, 63, revealed her character, Deb Scott, wasn't meant for the long haul during an appearance on the Drama Queens podcast, hosted by former costars Bethany Joy Lenz and Robert Buckley. "What was the sort of initial concept of Deb? How big of a role were you supposed to have, and what did it look like?" Buckley asked. "Deb was a three-episode arc," Woods confessed to the shock of both Buckley and Lenz. Despite being slated for just a short stint on the show, Woods said she took a big leap of faith, hoping showrunners might change their mind. "I was on another show at the same time, not a regular, but a recurring role in L.A.," Woods recalled. "I knew that One Tree Hill wanted me for three episodes. I was in love with this character. I was in love with the show, the writing." "I don't think I saw into the future that I would be there further than three episodes, but I really wanted those three episodes," she added. "I had to choose between the two shows. And the other show would have possibly taken me further as well. I had to choose, and I chose One Tree Hill, knowing that it was only three episodes." While Woods didn't name the other show she was debating, she was notably working on Providence and American Dreams around the same time. Her gut instincts were right, and, of course, fans of the teen drama know that she stayed on for far more than just three episodes. "They extended, and I never went home," she recalled. "So after three episodes, they said, 'Well, they wanna keep you here.' So I didn't even pack for it. I never even went home." Woods ended up playing the mother of James Lafferty's character, Nathan Scott, for the majority of the show's run. Woods, Lenz and Buckley joked that the direction of her character changed from "boring" to a "cautionary tale" as the series went on. However, Woods said "it was so much fun" playing a character that went off the rails a bit. "My theory is that the writers on One Tree Hill really wrote for us as they got to know us," Woods said. "Maybe wrote to our strengths, maybe added some comedy or not, and maybe tried to press some buttons, some emotional buttons where we didn't want them pressed." Jorgie and her fiancé Ollie introduced their baby daughter for the first time to OK! magazine at their stunning home in January. Forest and Alfie, who visited them in hospital on the day their baby daughter was born, are loving being big brothers – or at least Alfie is. 'Forest is still wrapping his head around what's going on,' Jorgie told us. Peony was delivered via a planned Caesarean section. When asked about her birth weight, Jorgie, who is a little over 5ft 2in, burst out laughing and responded with, 'She was a whopper!' Jorgie explained: "I knew she was going to be big because I felt massive the second time around. She was officially 8lbs 14oz but I'm rounding it up to 9lbs because I'm tiny and feel like a hero! She was just a little chunk. "When the nurses pulled her out after the C-section, I thought, 'Thank God I chose another section because there's no way I'd have had her naturally.''

Back in 2001, Austin starred in the film Holiday in the Sun, which was one of the many direct-to-video Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen films that you, dear reader, may have been raised on. In the film, Austin — who was born in 1980 and is currently 44 years old — shares a kiss with Mary-Kate, who was born in 1986 and is 38 years old. The film came out in November of 2001, so if you operate under the assumption that it was filmed some time in the year before release, Mary-Kate was somewhere between 14 and 15 years old — and Austin was between 20 and 21 years old. Obviously, just the idea of a 14-or-15-year-old engaging in a romantic kiss with a 20-or-21-year-old good. In a recent interview on the Drama Queens podcast, Austin got real about just how not good it felt to act out the scene at the time. 'I was definitely nervous because Mary-Kate was 15, and I was, I think, 18 or 19, or maybe even 20," Austin said. "I don't remember, but I was too old. And it felt weird, and it felt wrong." 'And I looked very young, so watching the movie, I don't think you notice. I'm real tall and skinny and nerdy. But I don't think you can tell there's a big age difference. But from my brain, I was like, 'She's 15. This is weird.'"
