Springfield crews work to put out fire on Isabel Street
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield crews are working to put out a structure fire on Isabel Street Monday night. Minivan-motorcycle collision on Main Street in Springfield leaves two injured Springfield Fire Captain Drew Garrett shared on social media at approximately 8:30 p.m. that all companies have responded to a working fire located on 3 Isabel Street. Images shared show the home's porch heavily engulfed in flames. No information has been released regarding affected individuals or injuries at this time. 22News will provide updates as more information becomes available. Three injured in multi-vehicle crash on Chestnut Street in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A three-car crash on Chestnut Street and Lyman Street in Springfield Monday morning resulted in multiple injuries. BB gun discovered during investigation at East Longmeadow High School Springfield Fire Captain Drew Garrett said that at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Monday, crews received a report of a three-vehicle accident on Chestnut and Lyman Streets. All occupants of the vehicles were able to free themselves. Three occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and were brought to a local hospital to be treated. SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Fire Department is at the location of a vehicle fire on I-291 Sunday morning. Man dies after being struck by train on Fieldston Street in Springfield Springfield Fire Captain Drew Garrett said that crews are currently working in the vicinity of Exit 1A on I-291 west to put out a car fire. Two injured in Liberty St., Genesee St. intersection crash in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Fire Department was called to a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Liberty Street and Genesee Street, resulting in multiple injuries. Fire put out at Willard Avenue home in Springfield Springfield Fire Captain Drew Garrett said that at around 5:53 p.m. on Tuesday, a report came in regarding a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Liberty and Genesee Streets. The fire department reported that one occupant was obstructed in their vehicle due to the crash, and crews were able to successfully free them. Two other occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were brought to a local hospital. Fire put out at Willard Avenue home in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Fire Department put out a kitchen fire in a home on Willard Avenue Tuesday evening. Victim identified in deadly Greenfield workplace accident Springfield Fire Captain Drew Garrett said that at around 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, the fire department received a report of a structure fire at 21 Willard Avenue. When the first fire crews arrived, they discovered a fire on the first floor of the home in the kitchen. Fire crews were able to successfully put out the fire, with no injuries reported. The three residents of the home evacuated as a result of the fire, and Springfield Fire said that they are currently being assisted by the Red Cross. The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad have determined that the cause of the fire was accidental.
