Viral TikTok Products You Missed But Need Now
Anua's Heartleaf Cleanser — it goes after blackheads and general congestion so aggressively, some reviewers even say you can see 👀 the dirt and dead skin get flushed out. A *cute* minimizer bra that promises no gaps or bunching, which, as someone with boobs, I know sounds like straight-up malarkey. Alas, thousands of reviewers say it's true!!! 😭 A retractable remote-control tether for anyone who's played one too many games of hide and seek with their remote and duvet. Nice try, FireStick remote — you've lost your privileges and are relegated to leash life now. Nyx Fat Oil Lip Drip — a TikTok-approved Dior alternative that delivers the perfect pout for under 10 bucks! It can be worn alone for a subtle look or layered over other lip products for a full glam moment. A shower lamp so you can take your baths up a notch in the ambiance department. I don't care what anyone says, I won't hear ANY bath slander, OK?? In the eternal words of Meredith Marks, "You don't go after my marriage. You don't go after my bathtub." An airtight Deli ProKeeper to keep your sandwich supplies fresh and moisture free. Groceries basically cost an arm and TWO legs now, so proper storage is a must! Biodance bio-collagen sheet masks — they deeeeeply penetrate skin with oligo-hyaluronic acid and ultra-low molecular collagen, the combination of which helps to refine pores, improve elasticity, and visibly moisturize your skin. A gold-plated paper clip necklace that reviewers say can even withstand frequent showers and trips to the beach! A rechargeable heated ice cream scoop if you're mega impatient and hate having to leave your Häagen-Dazs on the counter to soften up before scooping it. I can't even tell you how many normal spoons I've bent to hell and back because I simply can't wait. Some mid-weight sweatpants TikTokers are comparing to Aritzia's 👀, but because they get shipped straight to your door, you can try them on in front of a *private* mirror instead of having to complete the dreaded ritual that is exiting your dressing room to use a communal one. A self-stirring mug that'll mix your cream and sugar into your coffee for you so you don't have to dirty a spoon giving it a quick twirl. Usually, you'd just run said spoon under the faucet for half a second and then toss it back in the utensil drawer, but on the off chance someone else is in the kitchen and witnesses you using it, then you have to put on a show of actually washing it with soap and water, and that's just a hassle. A Turmeric Overnight Wrapping Peel Off Mask (from viral K-Beauty brand Medicube) to help you on your journey to glass skin! Kojic acid helps to brighten your complexion, while turmeric extract fights off environmental stressors and leaves your skin visibly clearer. A "Cup Cozy Pillow" so you can keep your three comfort beverages and TV remotes right by your side — no worries about spilling or losing anything between the couch cushions. Dae Cactus Fruit 3-In-1 Styling Cream if you're all about slicked-back styles but you're looking for something that won't leave your hair greasy or crusty. Reviewers also say it smells divine and it draws comparisons to the pink Starburst, Skittles, and gummy bears! A CZ tennis bracelet that — according to reviewers — can pass for real-deal diamonds, especially when incorporated in a sparkly stack. A leakproof laptop lunch tote with an insulated compartment where you can store your drink(s) of choice. They'll stay nice and cool in there for up to six hours, so you can keep them at your desk and avoid using the communal fridge altogether if you have an office pickpocket who regularly targets your stuff. A glare-free palm-size *mini* Kindle that can hold thousands of books and has a battery life of six weeks!!! That way, you don't have to worry about it dying RIGHT when you get to the good part of your novel. A K-beauty SPF 50 "sunstick" if you HATE how greasy sunscreen feels on your fingers, so a stick version is the ideal solution. The oil-control formula offers a semi-matte finish with no white cast, so you don't have to rub it in and defeat the purpose of its design. 🙌🏻 A square-neck A-line dress with a slight drop waist (v on-trend) and a fitted bodice that's sure to become a go-to this summer. Laneige's Neo Blurring Powder — an oil-absorbing, pore-blurring formula that'll eliminate shine without drying you out because that's just as bad, tbh. A teensy tiny 14-ounce Stanley Cup if you have a little one who INSISTS on drinking out of your cup and doesn't understand the concept of backwash quite yet. Maybe, just maybe, getting them a matching one will solve that problem. A two-slice slim toaster for anyone SICK of how much room their current clunker of a toaster takes up. This lil' baby is only 3.5 inches wide, so you can tuck it in anywhere. Some afforable Eos Shea Butter Vanilla Cashmere body lotion that TikTokers are tripping over themselves to get as they swear it moisturizes and smells as good as much more expensive options from brands like Philosophy and Bath & Body Works. A double-sided cutting *and* defrosting board if you always underestimate how long your chicken takes to thaw, and you told guests dinner would be on the table at 7 p.m... A freaking weenie dog hoodie from Aelfric Eden — the same streetwear brand behind last year's viral cow sweater! I love the meta element of a human wearing a sweatshirt with the motif of a dog wearing its own sweater and beret. A foaming drain cleaner if you've got a sensitive schnoz and your sink has been smelling... off... lately. One reviewer says they used a single can on five different sinks, so you can go wild and make a night of cleaning every drain in your home. Oxo's new compact Brew Rapid Brewer — an ideal summer camping trip companion because "roughing it" on your trip may mean sleeping in a tent and using an outhouse, but it will NOT mean going caffeine-free. A versatile Ninja Crispi Air Fryer system that can air fry, bake, crisp, and reheat when attached to your choice of included 6-cup or 4-quart container. And anything you don't finish? Just slap a lid on it, store it in your fridge, and enjoy leftovers the next day! No extra dishes necessary. A "Beverage Buddee" can cover if you're a sodie lover but can only handle a few sips here and there. These also help prevent spills and keep bees away if you're sipping outside!! A tub of Juno & Co.'s cleansing balm as it combines the powers of pearl barley and vitamin E to brighten skin, reduce hyperpigmentation, refine texture, and remove impurities (or, say, 10 layers of mascara).

YG Entertainment unveils ambitious plans
From new Blackpink song to rookie group debut, YG gears up to improve intellectual property K-pop powerhouse YG Entertainment has unveiled its road map for the second half of 2025. On Monday, YG executive producer Yang Hyun-seok released a video interview on the company's official blog, sharing updates on the agency's artists and upcoming rookie debuts. The biggest highlight was the announcement of long-awaited comeback of girl group Blackpink. Yang revealed that new music from the group would be revealed 'soon,' marking the group's first official release in two years and eight months, since second studio album "Born Pink" came out Sept. 16, 2022. Meanwhile, Babymonster, currently on the "Hello Monsters"world tour, will also present a new track. A prerelease single titled 'Hot Sauce' is set for July 1, followed by a mini album on Oct. 1. 'Hot Sauce' marks the group's first release since the first full-length album "Drip" in November 2024. "Hot Sauce" is a late-1980s-style hip-hop track with addictive energy, explained Yang. 'We wanted to gift fans a fun track for the summer. I was curious how teenage Babymonster would interpret a genre from 40 years ago. The result exceeded expectations,' noted Yang. Boy band Treasure is also returning with a new mini album on Sept. 1, followed by a new world tour starting in October. Yang assured the agency's full support of Treasure with at least two new album releases a year. Yang also revealed new artist debut plans. He confirmed the company is preparing two new boy bands and two new girl groups, adding that a boy band might be able to make its official debut in 2026. One of the girl groups is to be a four-member team. To build anticipation, YG will begin releasing practice videos of the new girl group members starting May 28, following a strategy similar to that of Babymonster's predebut exposure. 'As we did before, we want the public to evaluate them exactly as they are,' said Yang. An official debut date for the new groups has not been confirmed. The youngest group currently under YG Entertainment is Babymonster, having debuted in April 2024. Concluding the video, Yang emphasized that YG has undergone major internal restructuring over the past year and is now focusing on accelerating rookie debuts and expanding the company's intellectual property as a top priority.

K-pop group Babymonster spotted at Lady Gaga's Singapore concert
It turns out that Little Monsters weren't the only monsters enjoying the first night of Lady Gaga's four-day concert in Singapore. Members of K-pop girl group Babymonster – Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Rora and Chiquita – were seen in their best Drip at Mother Monster's show, one day after their sold-out show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Missing from the festivities were members Ahyeon, who had left for South Korea ahead of the others, and Rami, who is currently on hiatus due to health concerns. According to multiple attendees, Babymonster enjoyed Sunday's show from the stadium's executive suite. The group's appearance at Lady Gaga's gig comes a year after member Pharita flew into Singapore to catch Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert. Babymonster's concert, which took place on Saturday (May 17), saw the group delighting fans, known as Monstiez, with hits such as Sheesh, Forever and Drip. Babymonster also treated attendees to surprise covers of labelmate Blackpink's Kill This Love and As If It's Your Last. Concert review: K-pop girl group Babymonster cheered on by growing fan base
K-pop girl group Babymonster – (from left) Asa, Rora, Chiquita, Ahyeon, Pharita and Ruka – played to a sold-out crowd at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 17. PHOTO: YG ENTERTAINMENT 2025 Babymonster 1st World Tour: Hello Monsters In Singapore Singapore Indoor Stadium May 17, 6pm What a difference a year makes. If you had caught K-pop septet Babymonster's debut Singapore show in June 2024, you would be amazed by how much their fan base has grown since. The girl group sold out their May 17 concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, a larger venue than The Star Vista where they last played to around 5,000 fans. They also performed at the Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix in September 2024. The demographic of their fan base has also diversified, based on this writer's observations. The about 9,000-strong audience of the 2025 concert included a more even gender mix, and ranged from primary school children to adults in their 30s, compared with their predominantly teenage female audience earlier. The girl group have worked non-stop to win hearts since they were officially formed in 2024, and celebrated their first anniversary on April 1. Now aged 16 to 23, the seven members were assembled from three countries by K-pop agency YG Entertainment. They are Ahyeon, Rami and Rora from South Korea, Asa and Ruka from Japan, as well as Chiquita and Pharita from Thailand. Their first world tour kicked off in Seoul in January, and went to New Jersey and Los Angeles in the United States and five Japanese cities, before arriving in Singapore, their first stop in South-east Asia. Babymonster were quick to proclaim their love for Singapore fans or Monstiez, as they are known. 'It's so good to be back,' Rora said, after they opened the show with two high-energy tracks, Drip and Batter Up. But as Ahyeon told the packed stadium: 'We're very sad that Rami couldn't join us this time.' Babymonster opened the show with two high-energy tracks, Drip and Batter Up. PHOTO: YG ENTERTAINMENT YG Entertainment had announced on May 9 that Rami would not take part in the remaining stops of the Asian leg of Babymonster's world tour 'due to health-related reasons'. While the agency did not elaborate on her condition, it revealed that the 17-year-old has been undergoing treatment since her debut. But as her condition has not improved, 'medical professionals have advised that she suspend all activities and take absolute rest for the time being', it said in a statement. The statement added: 'Even in the face of this unexpected situation, the six remaining members are more determined than ever to successfully complete their meetings with fans across Asia.' That the members did, as they held their audience captive with a concert which was backed by a four-piece band and clocked in at just under two hours. Babymonster held their audience captive with a concert which was backed by a four-piece band. PHOTO: YG ENTERTAINMENT Besides delivering hits such as Sheesh, Forever and Love In My Heart, they also took turns to sing solos. Chiquita, for instance, belted out a rendition of American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo's Traitor (2021), while Pharita hit all the high notes in What Other People Say (2021), a duet by Australian singer-songwriter Sam Fischer and American singer Demi Lovato. Meanwhile, Asa and Ruka performed Woke Up In Tokyo, their quirky duet from the group's first full-length album Drip released in November 2024. Babymonster covered Blackpink's hits Kill This Love and As If It's Your Last for the first time on their concert tour. PHOTO: YG ENTERTAINMENT But the real treat for fans came when the group covered Kill This Love (2019) and As If It's Your Last (2017), two dance-pop numbers by the massively popular quartet Blackpink, which are also managed by YG Entertainment. This was Babymonster's first time performing these cover songs on the concert tour, Ahyeon said. Several members, including Ruka, revealed during their trainee period that Blackpink served as their inspiration to pursue a K-pop career. The concert also featured a recap with clips from Last Evaluation, an eight-episode YouTube reality series released in March 2023, which documented Babymonster's journey as K-pop trainees. Babymonster's Singapore concert drew a good gender mix of fans, and ranged from primary school children to adults in their 30s. PHOTO: YG ENTERTAINMENT With the group's dedication and their agency's extensive promotion, there is no doubt that Babymonster will reach greater heights, and perhaps even match up to Blackpink's fame. As the show came to an end, Asa summed up the sentiments of her group mates and fans when she said: 'Next time, I hope we can be back, with all seven of us.' Babymonster's Rami suspends activities due to health issues; YG returns to profit on same day
Agency posts $6.78 million Q1 operating profit as concerns rise over overworking high-performing rookie groups, particularly Babymonster Rami, a member of K-pop girl group Babymonster, will temporarily suspend all activities due to health concerns, YG Entertainment announced Friday. According to the agency, Rami will not participate in the remainder of the group's Asia tour, which begins in Singapore May 17 and runs through the end of June. Currently on its first world tour, 'Hello Monsters,' the septet recently wrapped up its Japan leg and is scheduled to perform in Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei. 'Since her debut, Rami has continued her activities while receiving ongoing treatment and care, despite persistent health issues, out of a strong desire to repay the love of her fans,' YG Entertainment said in a statement. 'However, as her condition showed little improvement, medical professionals recently advised her to suspend all activities and take complete rest.' Babymonster will carry on with a six-member lineup. In the second half of the year, the tour will travel to North America with concerts scheduled in Toronto, Rosemont, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Oakland and Seattle. 'The members are working harder than ever to perfect the newly arranged performances, which will include additional cover songs,' the agency added. 'We ask for your continued support as the team does its best to fill Rami's absence.' Rami's hiatus was announced the same day YG Entertainment reported its first-quarter earnings, prompting renewed questions about the agency's artist management and scheduling intensity. The company posted 9.5 billion won ($6.78 million) in operating profit from January to March, marking a sharp turnaround from a 7 billion won ($5 million) operating loss in the same period last year — a 14.7 percent year-on-year increase. YG Entertainment attributed the recovery to strong growth in its newer intellectual property, particularly rookie girl group Babymonster and boy band Treasure, both of which have received strategic investment since last year. Launched in April 2024, Babymonster has released a debut EP, 'Babymons7er,' and an LP, 'Drip,' within its first year. With little downtime, the group held a two-show concert at KSPO Dome in Seoul in January — becoming the fastest female act to headline the venue, just eight months after its debut. The group kicked off its world tour in North America in February with performances in Newark and Los Angeles. Following high demand, six additional North American shows were announced for August.
