The Outdoors Brand Field & Stream Just Opened Its First Hotel—See Inside the Bozeman, Montana, Lodge With Canoe-shaped Firepits

Field & Stream Bozeman, the first hotel from the outdoors gear brand Field & Stream, opened on May 15 near Bozeman, Montana. The resort features 179 guest rooms and suites, an indoor pool, and a 29,000-square-foot outdoor space complete with canoe-shaped firepits, umbrellas, and a hot tub. Next month, the lodge will welcome Dry Fly Saloon, an on-site restaurant serving dishes inspired by Montana's culinary traditions. For well over a century, Field & Stream has outfitted adventurers for the great outdoors. This month, the brand moved beyond gear with the May 15 launch of its first-ever hotel, Field & Stream Bozeman, blending vintage lodge charm and modern comfort at the gateway to Big Sky, Montana. The sprawling resort, which is part of the company's new hospitality platform Field & Stream Lodge Co., is just a mile from downtown Bozeman. It features 179 guest rooms and suites, an indoor pool, and a 29,000-square-foot landscaped outdoor space dubbed 'The Backyard' with canoe-shaped firepits, canvas umbrellas, and a hot tub. Inside, the hotel embraces a vintage hunting and fishing lodge aesthetic with warm wood-paneled walls, plaid carpets, and cozy upholstered furnishings, along with statement details like mounted antlers and an antique canoe suspended from the ceiling. Accommodations range from double-occupancy Mountain King and Bunk Rooms to connecting suites designed for families and groups, each with modern features such as workspaces, mini fridges, and wool camp blankets. Some rooms also have a sleeper sofa. 'Field & Stream Bozeman celebrates the brand's rich history while introducing modern comforts and a focus on great American hospitality,' Bill Cottrill, the resort's general manager, said in a press release shared with Travel + Leisure. 'The Lodge provides a true sense of place for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the spirit of Big Sky Country.' Interior of the Gallatin Suite. After exploring, guests can unwind in cozy communal spaces. The indoor pool area features plaid-clad loungers, rustic Adirondack chairs, and chandeliers playfully crafted from vintage snowshoes. The lodge's Great Room, anchored by an impressive stone fireplace, is perfect for gathering around board games or recounting the day's adventures over craft beers. Outside, The Backyard invites guests to linger around firepits or share a casual meal at live-edge wood picnic tables. Get all you could need at the Supply Shop.
