ITP Media Group teams up with Dubai Cares to support regional efforts
ITP Media Group has announced it has teamed up with charity Dubai Cares for a long-term partnership to support its charity efforts across the region. Dubai Cares focuses on ensuring access to education and humanitarian aid for children and young people. One of the leading media companies in the GCC, ITP announced that all of its brands, including Time Out Dubai, Time Out Abu Dhabi, Caterer Middle East, Hotelier Middle East, Commercial Interior Design and many more, will be officially supporting the charity over the next five years. The partnership will see ITP offer advertising support (print and digital) alongside financial contribution, as well as playing an integral part in sharing Dubai Cares' core messaging. For the first year, ITP will be backing Dubai Cares' 'Emergency Response to Gaza' campaign, in an effort to continue to support the people of Gaza with emergency aid relief including hot meals, food baskets and shelter tents. You can donate to the Dubai Cares Initiative here. Since it was first launched, the organisation has reached over 24 million beneficiaries across 60 developing countries. Dubai Cares Concludes 2024 with Record Impact on Education and Humanitarian Efforts
Dubai Cares, a UN-affiliated philanthropic organization, marked a monumental year in 2024, reaching over 116 million beneficiaries across 60 developing countries since its inception in 2007. Through AED 1 billion disbursed toward transformative programs, Dubai Cares reinforced its commitment to global education, health, and emergency relief. Key achievements included the 'Gaza In Our Hearts' campaign, raising AED 15.6 million to provide meals and essential aid to families in Gaza, and the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' initiative, which garnered AED 39 million for displaced Lebanese families. These campaigns exemplified Dubai Cares' dedication to crisis response and community engagement. Locally, initiatives like "Volunteer Emirates" and "Students for Students" rallied over 9,700 volunteers and raised AED 720,000 to support underprivileged students in the UAE. Partnerships with organizations such as The Giving Movement and HRE Development further underscored innovative philanthropy, funding education programs globally. Highlighting its advocacy efforts, Dubai Cares unveiled the "Rewiring Education: The Climate-Education Nexus" report, emphasizing education's role in sustainable development.
