Dubai attractions open for summer 2025 AYA Universe (Credit: Supplied) The interactive exhibition is a tour through 12 different zones, all of which invite you to open your eyes to the cosmos. The only one of its kind in Dubai, you can enjoy each room as you experience the wonders of the universe . Think giant galaxy ball pit, running through the rain, and a spot to lie down and look up at the stars. You might have only gone to Wafi City, but you'll feel in a whole other world at AYA. Dhs135. Dubai Frame It isn't just a stand-out structure that captures the city in a colossal-sized frame, visitors can actually go inside and up to the bridge of Dubai Frame over at Zabeel Park. And, the views of 'old' and 'new' Dubai from a 150-metre-high sky glass bridge look superb whether you're there for the day, sunset or at night. If you live in the UAE, you can get yourself an annual pass for either all the parks, or you can choose which two you will most likely be visiting more often that the others. It will really save you a lot of money in the long term, plus gives you exclusive benefits such as discount on food and drinks and information about seasonal events ahead of the general public. House of Hype After opening in February at Dubai Mall, House of Hype is here to give you a cool Insta-op. This gigantic experience has over 100 different things to do, and you'll feel like you've walked through video games, taken a stroll through Japan and stumbled into a dream at the same time. Marvel-lovers can meet their favourite heroes in person, as well as be flung around on the Hulk Epsilon rollercoaster as many times as they please. KidZania Credit: Supplied Catering to kids between the ages of four and 16, this edutainment (education meets entertainment – get it?) centre in The Dubai Mall is basically a replica of a mini-city complete with paved streets and even a functioning economy. KidZania offers a safe environment where little ones can use their imagination to explore 'work' as a pilot, dentist, doctor, fireman, or even a journalist. The architectural and engineering marvel opened up early in 2022 and it takes visitors on a journey into the future. Ski Dubai Sure, there are sand dunes to be seen, but you can't come to Dubai without checking out its phenomenal must-see indoor ski slope, which now not only provides great runs for skiers and boarders, but is also home to a colony of penguins and a snow park for all kinds of winter-themed fun. The Green Planet Credit: The Green Planet Dubai Yes, it's exactly what it says on the tin. The Green Planet is Dubai's indoor rainforest (as you do). Inviting guests on a wild adventure, walk through the different floors of the rainforest as you make your way up to the canopy. Home to thousands of cute and creepy creatures from bats and monkeys to birds and even piranhas, it's a great place to make some forest friends and learn about their habitat. From Dhs129. Open daily 10am-6pm. City Walk, Al Wasl, (800 7699). The View at the Palm Catch stunning 360-degree views 240 meters above the world-famous Palm Jumeirah. Dubai Parks and Resorts Announces Two-Week Discount for Residents

Dubai Parks and Resorts has launched a special offer for UAE residents, providing access to one theme park for AED199 per person from May 9 to 25, 2025. Residents can choose from four parks: MOTIONGATE Dubai, Real Madrid World, LEGOLAND Dubai, or LEGOLAND Water Park. MOTIONGATE Dubai, the region's largest Hollywood-inspired theme park, features 29 rides and attractions based on popular films. Visitors can experience rides such as John Wick: Open Contract, Now You See Me: High Roller, and Capitol Bullet Train from The Hunger Games. Family options include Smurfs Studio Tours, Hotel Transylvania, and Kung Fu Panda: Unstoppable Awesomeness. Real Madrid World, the first theme park dedicated to the football club, offers attractions including Hala Madrid Coaster, Stars Flyer, and La Fábrica Training Pitch. The park aims to appeal to visitors regardless of their interest in football. LEGOLAND Dubai targets families with children aged 2-12, featuring 40 rides and attractions across six themed lands. The park combines play with creativity through LEGO-inspired experiences. For those seeking water-based activities, LEGOLAND Water Park offers slides, a Wave Pool, and a water playground. Attractions include the Red Rush slide and a lazy river where visitors can float on LEGO rafts. The promotional rate applies to both online bookings and purchases at the gate. Eid Al Fitr 2025: Where to watch fireworks in Dubai, Abu Dhabi

Here are some places where you can watch fireworks and take part in events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the Eid break. Dubai is gearing up for a spectacular Eid Al Fitr celebration with extended hours at Global Village and fireworks lighting up the sky across multiple locations. Festivities and fireworks at Global Village From March 28 to April 6, During the first three days of Shawwal, the park will remain open from 4pm to 1am, offering visitors an extended opportunity to explore its vibrant shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences. One of the main highlights will be the breathtaking nine-night fireworks show, taking place daily from March 28 to April 5. During Ramadan nights, the display will begin at 10pm, shifting to 9pm from the first day of Eid (March 30). The grand festivities will culminate with a much-anticipated concert by Assala Nasri on April 6. Fireworks at destinations in Dubai For those staying in the UAE over the long Eid weekend, there are plenty of other spots across Dubai to catch dazzling fireworks. Nessnass Beach: Visitors can enjoy a culinary experience with fireworks at 8pm on the first day of Eid. Dubai Parks and Resorts: Riverland Dubai will feature fireworks at 9:30pm on the first two days of Eid. Hatta: Eid celebrations extend to the mountains, with an 8pm fireworks show on the first day of Eid. Bluewaters & The Beach, JBR: Fireworks will light up the sky at 9pm on the second day of Eid. Events in Dubai Eid Al Fitr parade in JLT: A parade of drummers and performers will take place in JLT on the first day of Eid Al Fitr. The family-friendly event will take place from 4pm to 6pm, starting at Cluster D Promenade Level, winding its way through JLT Park Gate 1 and Gate 2, before ending by the fountain area. There will be sweet treats for spectators, too. The event is free to attend but registration is encouraged on the Jumeirah Lakes Towers website. Live entertainment at City Walk: For the first three days of Eid Al Fitr, this Dubai shopping destination will host free musical acts, including Lebanese singer Amanda Maalouf and the retro-focused Cassette Band. Performances will take place in the fountain area and start at 5pm each evening. There will also be traditional performances by an Emirati troupe on the first and second day of Eid in the courtyard and fountain area. Souk Madinat Jumeirah: Souk Madinat Jumeirah will host a celebration that honours UAE heritage and culture during the first three days of Eid, from 4pm to 8pm. Expect roaming traditional bagpipes, while Arabic coffee and dates will be served at the Amphitheatre. Read: Fireworks in Abu Dhabi Yas Bay Waterfront will host fireworks for all three days of Eid, starting at 9pm. Guests can watch free of charge, but there is also the option to book surrounding restaurants, including include Daikan, Hunter & Barrel, Asia Asia, Barbossa and Paradiso, for a more comfortable viewing experience. Free events in the emirate Airship Orchestra at Galleria Mall Al Maryah Island: An interactive installation by Melbourne studio Eness, which features 16 inflatable sculptures embedded with motion sensors that emit light and sound in response to passers-by, will be on the Promenade at the Galleria Mall Al Maryah Island until April 20. The sculptures in Airship Orchestra are up to six metres tall and a choir will 'compose' a new score each night for them.
