Wednesday's highs are predicted to reach the mid to upper 80s in many parts of Massachusetts, according to the weather service. The state is expected to experience the highest temperatures on Thursday, with cities such as Lowell and Springfield seeing highs in the low 90s. Temperatures are predicted to cool off on Friday and Saturday as showers return to Massachusetts, according to the weather service. Highs on these days are only predicted to reach the mid 80s and upper 70s, respectively.
