Beyond the Gates will lather up for a second season at CBS. The good news comes 11 weeks after the launch of the first new daytime drama in 25 years, and just hours after CBS touted that its daytime slate — led by The Price Is Right, The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful — has reigned at No. 1 for a whopping 39 consecutive seasons.
