Reddit Expands Dynamic Ads to All Advertisers

After testing them out with selected partners over the last month, Reddit's now making its Dynamic Product Ads available to all advertisers, providing another way to get your products in front of Reddit users as they search within related discussions. As you can see in this example, Reddit's Dynamic Product Ads display relevant items from your product catalog alongside related subreddit conversations. Dynamic Product Ads auto-populate in real-time, using images and pricing info from an advertiser's catalog, ensuring that the most relevant matches are displayed within these placements. The process also enables retargeting, so you can display products that users have previously engaged with on your website, with both single image and carousel promotions available. Reddit says that it's seen success with the format in initial testing, which is why it's now expanding access to all ad partners. As per Reddit: 'Since launching in beta last year, we've seen Dynamic Product Ads deliver outsized performance for advertisers. In Q1 2025, advertisers who ran both Dynamic Product Ads and standard conversions campaigns saw 2x higher Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) with Dynamic Product Ads. We've also seen a remarkable 4x+ annual increase in the number of catalogs hosted on Reddit and featured in campaigns between March 2024 to March 2025.' Reddit further notes that Dynamic Product Ad targeting extends beyond just topical matching: 'Dynamic Product Ads on Reddit automatically generate personalized ad experiences by pulling from an advertiser's product catalog in real time and intelligently matching products with the most engaged audiences and relevant conversations. It does this by analyzing on-platform engagement on Reddit - such as the communities redditors join - as well as off-platform interactions with products through prospecting and retargeting. And with the general availability of this offering, we have applied key learnings from our beta to further enhance advertiser performance and ease of use. In fact, Dynamic Product Ads delivered an average of over 94% higher ROAS in Q1 compared to campaigns run last year.' So not only are the ads more widely available, but they now have more data parameters to draw on, which will improve overall performance. It could be a good option to tap into Reddit discussion, and with more and more people coming to Reddit to seek out product advice, there's clearly a link between shopper intent and discovery, which could make this a good fit for your promotions. On another front, Reddit's also announced a new integration with multi-channel ad platform Smartly.
