The Jember Fashion Carnival (JFC) is an annual cultural and tourism event held in Jember, a town in Indonesia's eastern Java province. Established in 2001 by fashion designer Dynand Fariz, the carnival has grown into one of Southeast Asia's largest street fashion parades, attracting thousands of visitors and international media coverage.
Known for its elaborate, oversized costumes and thematic concepts that change each year, the parade stretches several kilometers through the town's main streets, featuring hundreds of participants. Designs often blend Indonesian cultural motifs with global influences, aiming to showcase creativity, craftsmanship and promote Jember as a fashion and tourism hub.
