People quoted a few esteemed jewellers, such as the managing director of 77 Diamonds, Tobias Kormind, who claims the ring is about 37 carats and worth a staggering £3.7million. Engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, Laura Taylor, argues the "extraordinary" oval-cut diamond ranges between 15 to 20 carats and is worth easily more than £1.5m. Jewellery aficionado turned social media content creator, Julia Chafe, estimates the ring to be about 35 carats and worth up to £2.2m. The celebrity pair have been together for nine years, but Ronaldo has previously been hesitant to pop the question. The couple met in 2016 when Georgina was working at a Gucci store in Spain during the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's time with Real Madrid. They have two children together - Alana, seven, and Bella, three - and formed a family with CR7's three kids born to two surrogate mothers.
