Lexus has unveiled the all-new ES, a significant step forward in luxury saloons, embracing electrified motoring for discerning drivers. The eighth-generation ES elevates the brand's renowned comfort, elegance and craftsmanship with a fresh design and advanced powertrains. Inspired by the LF-ZC concept, the new ES boasts a bold yet sophisticated silhouette, optimised for aerodynamic efficiency. Key design elements include the evolved spindle body front-end and distinctive twin L-signature lighting. Built on the reimagined TNGA GA-K platform, the ES offers a lower centre of gravity and enhanced ride comfort, aligning with Lexus's commitment to a dynamic yet serene driving experience favoured in SA. Inside, the meticulously crafted interior provides increased legroom and a spacious feel, enhanced by features like a panoramic roof and ambient lighting. Material innovation includes options like Bamboo Layering, reflecting Lexus's blend of luxury and sustainability. Reflecting Lexus's multi-pathway electrification strategy, the ES offers diverse powertrain options for the UK market, including both HEV and BEV variants. 2026 Lexus ES revealed, coming to Australia with hybrid and EV power
The ES300h is now powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol-electric system developing up to 148kW and claimed to hit 100km/h in as little as 8.3 seconds, while the new ES350h will come with an upgraded 2.5-litre petrol-electric system offering 182kW (up from 160kw) and propelling it to 100km/h in a claimed 7.8 seconds.
