IIM Raipur, Emeritus launch 12-month online general management programme for professionals
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has announced the launch of its Advanced Certificate Programme in General Management, designed for professionals aiming to develop enterprise-wide leadership capabilities in a digital-first economy. The programme is being offered in collaboration with edtech company Emeritus and is scheduled to begin on September 30.
The 12-month online programme targets early to mid-career professionals, including managers, functional heads, and consultants who seek to build strategic, cross-functional, and technology-integrated leadership skills. It is also suitable for entrepreneurs and founders who want to lead innovation and expand their ventures through data-driven decision-making.
According to IIM Raipur, the course aims to meet the growing demand for business leaders who can navigate multiple business domains, leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics, and manage transformation across departments.
The programme will be delivered through live and recorded online sessions led by IIM Raipur faculty. The curriculum will cover core business functions such as strategy, operations, marketing, finance, and HR, along with emerging topics including AI, GenAI, analytics, digital transformation, and cloud technologies.
It will include over 10 live faculty-led sessions and six industry masterclasses, focusing on applications of AI in business leadership and functional domains. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend an optional on-campus networking event.
The programme is open to any graduate (10+2+3) from a recognised university, including UGC, AICTE, DEC, AIU, and international institutions approved by the relevant authorities. The course fee is Rs 1,45,000 + GST.
Participants who complete the course and meet evaluation requirements will receive a certificate of completion from IIM Raipur. According to the notice, graduates of the programme will be eligible for IIM Raipur's alumni status and can access related career support services, including resume-building, interview preparation, and membership with IIMJobs Pro.
IIM Raipur is ranked 14th in the Management Category by NIRF 2024 and is a member of the AACSB Business Education Alliance. The new programme is positioned within the broader shift in executive education towards digital and cross-functional competencies, in response to leadership trends highlighted in the EY CEO Outlook Pulse Survey 2025, which noted that over 88% of Indian CEOs now prioritise upskilling for future-readiness.
