I spent a sun-kissed fortnight with three generations of my family on Donegal's fabulous Fanad Peninsula a few years ago. I'm very tempted to head back there next weekend for The Journals Fleadh.
This lively weekend of conversation, workshops and craic in the beachside towns of Rathmullan and nearby Ramelton is the literary strand of the Earagail Arts Festival (July 12-26) and will feature established voices like novelist Louise Kennedy and poet Stephen Sexton.
