‘She's a fighter;' Girl seriously injured after being crushed by tree during Easter celebration
A 9-year-old girl was seriously injured after an accident during an Easter Celebration in Clinton County. Three of the kids were injured, but Ezra Rabe, 9, was the only one seriously hurt. A medical helicopter rushed her to Dayton Children's Hospital, where she's undergone several surgeries and had to have her toe amputated. Jessie McClure said he is still coming to terms with the injuries his daughter suffered. 'She was really twisted up. We jumped in there, I was able to get a branch up and grab a hold of her,' he said. The family set up a GoFundMe to raise money for Ezra's medical bills, travel expenses and more. LOS ANGELES - Easter celebrations in Los Angeles County returned to their traditional outdoor settings after last year's threat of rain forced changes or cancellations to planned outdoor events. CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – There are plenty of Easter events happening around the Lowcountry this weekend, from brunch at The Charleston Place to the Hat Ladies of Charleston's annual Easter stroll, or Easter beach party at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. There will also be plenty of community Easter egg hunts happening across the Lowcountry. Glow Egg Hunt at Central Creek Park – Goose Creek Goose Creek will host a TEEN Egg Hunt glow party at Central Creek Park. The event is intended for teens aged 13-17, and it will include music, food trucks, and a glowing egg hunt. It's a free community event, but guests are encouraged to bring their own flashlights. The 'Glow Egg Hunt' begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18, and ends at 9 p.m. Pawleys Island Easter Celebration – Pawleys Island The Town of Pawleys Island will host an Easter celebration on April 19 at Pawleys Pavilion Park (323 Myrtle Ave.).
