Eastside Coalition hosts crime watch meeting for community safety
The public came together Thursday evening to hear the latest on a key safety initiative.
The Eastside Grassroots Coalition hosted its neighborhood crime watch meeting Thursday evening to promote unity and awareness.
A variety of community members, such as the Erie County District Attorney, sheriff's deputies, and members of Erie City Council were at the meeting to hear feedback from residents.
The meeting also discussed their Crime Watch app and website that lets community members reach out about any safety concerns facing our area.
'So we put as much information as we can on there, we're always building and we appreciate just the public communicating through that, connecting, it's all about connecting with the community,' said Erie County District Attorney Elizabeth Hirz.
