FOX's Eben Brown speaks with John Spencer, Chairman of Urban Warfare Studies and author of 'Connected Soldiers: Life, Leadership, and Social Connections in Modern War', who says this is a direct change of Israeli plans for post war Gaza. Evening Edition: China Halts Rare Earth Metals Exports
Beijing has suspended the export of all rare-earth elements as the trade war with the United States intensifies. The demand for rare earth elements, or metals, is growing as the world uses more clean energy sources and more higher-end microchips for the next generation of processors. Rare earth magnets, made by the elements, are used in electric cars, fighter jets and other new and evolving computer technology. FOX's Eben Brown speaks with Bret Manley, Executive Director of the Energy Fair Trade Coalition and former Naval Intelligence Officer, who says the United States has to expedite the search, extraction and processing of rare earth elements or we will fall too far behind China in the development of new technologies. Evening Edition: Jewish Communities On Heightened Alert Approaching Passover
Jewish communities, students and those traveling have been warned about heightened security concerns approaching the Passover Holiday. Israel's National Security Council (NSC) has said that Iran, Hamas and other terror groups could be targeting Jews across the world because of the situation in Gaza. In the United States, there seems to be more evidence of foreign funding and organization for anti-Semitic protests and violence at campuses and universities. FOX's Eben Brown speaks with Michael Masters, the National Director & CEO of the Secure Community Network, the official safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America, who says the increased aggression towards Jewish communities and students is rooted in foreign funding and organization, and shares what his organization does to help secure Jewish gathering places. Evening Edition: Palestinians Hold Anti-Hamas Protests In Gaza
Thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of Gaza this week demanding an end to the war and also protesting the Hamas terror group calling for their ouster. It is a rare and dangerous display for Palestinians who were heard chanting 'Down with Hamas' as Hamas has violently cracked down on any previous protests. Many are asking if this could be the start of the end of Hamas rule in Gaza. FOX's Eben Brown speaks with Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jonathan Conricus, senior fellow at FDD focused on the Middle East. He served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for 24 years as a combat commander in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, who says these protests could very well be a change in Gaza but the true impact will take some time.
