Last date to apply for APEdCET-2025 without late fee is May 14, says Convenor
Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (APEdCET-2025) Convenor Prof. A.V.V.S. Swamy on Monday announced that the last date to apply for the exam without a late fee is May 14. The entrance exam, to be held on June 5 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., is jointly being conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University and the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions into two-year courses for the academic year 2025–26.
The fee for the exam is fixed as ₹650 for general candidates, ₹500 for BCs and ₹450 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Candidates who miss the regular deadline can still apply with a late fee of ₹1,000 until May 19, ₹2,000 until May 24, and ₹4,000 till May 26. Applications will also be accepted from May 27 to June 3 with a late fee of ₹10,000.
Prof. Swamy said the hall tickets can be downloaded starting May 30. He urged aspiring candidates to submit their applications promptly to avoid higher penalty charges and ensure timely preparation. The EdCET is a mandatory requirement for those seeking admission into colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
