Douglas County rollover crash leaves 22-year-old dead
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Kan. – One person has died after a rollover crash in Douglas County on Friday night.
A Lawrence police officer located a white Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck in a field near Midland Junction, located near U.S. Highway 24-59 and N 2000 Road.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and life-saving measures were attempted to save the victim at the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver missed the curve. Evidence suggests there was no other vehicles involved.
The driver was identified as Eddie Thomas Brooks, 22, of Topeka.
