Investigation started into the cause of three vehicle collision which closed A7
AN investigation has begun into the cause of a three vehicle collision, which saw a major road in Carlisle closed during rush hour earlier this week.
Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision that occurred on Eden Bridge, Carlisle, on the afternoon of Thursday, May 15, during rush hour at about 5.05pm. The collision involved a blue Mercedes, a green Volkswagen and a black Audi; the driver of the Volkswagen suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary for treatment. The A7 into Carlisle was closed whilst the casualty was treated by NWAS paramedics and to allow for Cumbria Fire and Rescue to make the vehicles safe before recovery was completed.
