Charity match success as Powys football legend remembered

LLANRHAEADR Football Club stepped up their pre-season with a 3-1 win at MMP Central Wales League North side Dyffryn Banw on Friday night. Dan Kelly and Huw France were among the scorers as the Ardal North East League side lifted the Edgar Jones Memorial Trophy. The match is played annually in memory of long-serving and much-missed Montgomeryshire League official and former Llanrhaeadr player Edgar Jones who passed away in 2008.
