Named after Samuel Churchill, this iconic venue opened its doors in 1875 and has been a staple of horse racing in the United States ever since, hosting the Kentucky Oaks and the Kentucky Derby every year since opening. This year will mark the 151st running of both events.
The venue seats 170,000 people and has hosted the Breeders' Cup nine times.
