OIC: Israeli Attacks Reach 2,637 Crimes in Week
Mohamed Mandour
The Israeli occupation forces committed mass crimes in the West Bank. The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque was subjected to daily raids by settlers and Israeli occupation police, who also deported three Palestinians from the mosque, including two journalists.
Monitoring Israeli crimes between March 25 and 31, 2025, the OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against Palestinians documented 2,637 crimes across various Palestinian areas.
Thousands of Palestinians on their way to Al-Aqsa to commemorate Laylat al-Qadr were prevented from entering the mosque, and strict restrictions were imposed on the entry of worshippers coming from other West Bank governorates to Al-Quds to perform the fourth Friday prayers of the holy month of Ramadan at Al-Aqsa
In the city of Hebron, the occupation authorities refused to hand over the Ibrahimi Mosque to the Palestinian Waqf Administration, as is customary for the commemoration of Laylat al-Qadr and on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. Armed settlers also attacked worshippers at the Sheikh Mosque in the town of Beit Furik in Nablus, and the occupation forces fired sound bombs and tear gas at the worshippers.
The number of settler attacks on Palestinian towns and villages reached 38 in one week. In some cases, foreign peace activists confronted these attacks, but were subsequently attacked in the Farisiya area of Tubas, which was subjected to numerous attacks during this period.
Settlers cut down 40 olive trees in the village of Suwayya in Nablus. They also grazed their livestock in the village of Al-Mughayyir in Ramallah, the Al-Burj area, and the Al-Mita area in Tubas. They assaulted a shepherd in the northern Jordan Valley in Tubas, killing two heads of cattle. They also stole 50 heads of sheep from the town of Kafr ad-Dik in Salfit, and 9 heads of camels from the village of al-Rashayda. They also attempted to steal several heads of sheep from the village of al-Minya in Bethlehem. Settlers in the 'Negohot' settlement, north of the village of Fuqayqis in Hebron, pumped sewage into the village's agricultural lands.
Regarding attacks on children in the West Bank, Israeli forces arrested 11 Palestinian children from the villages of Hizma in Al-Quds, Bethlehem, Jenin, Ramallah, Jericho, and the town of Beit Furik in Nablus. Settlers assaulted two children, wounding them and causing bruises in Masafer Yatta. Moreover, occupation forces injured three children in the village of Shuqba in Ramallah and the towns of Beita and Beit Furik in Nablus.
The total number of Palestinians arrested by occupation forces in the West Bank between March 25 and 31, 2025, reached 204 detainees of various age groups.
In the same context, occupation forces raided the Ein Qiniya Elementary School, terrorizing and threatening children, warning them against throwing stones during their raid on the village of Ein Qiniya in Ramallah. They also broke down the door of the school in the village of Qarawat Bani Zeid, raiding it, and terrorizing students there.
