Fishguard fundraising starts for Eisteddfod y Carreg Las
Eisteddfod y Carreg Las will be held near Eglwyswrw in the first week of August next year.
The cultural feast attracts up to 170,000 visitors every year and is the largest cultural festival not only in Wales but also in Europe.
To bring the eisteddfod to north Pembrokeshire, £400,000 has to be raised, with each town given a specific target.

The event was very well received, with lots of local people attending and £900 raised.
'We have had tremendous support this morning,' said organiser Sian Jenkins. 'I want to thank everybody for that support.'

'It is a bit of a team effort," said Sian. 'Thank you to the Royal Oak, they have been fantastic, and thank you to the people of Fishguard and Goodwick for their support.'
