Inside fashion designer Harris Reed's showstopping London flat
H arris Reed fits a lot in. Into his weeks, which are divided between London and Paris, where he is head of his eponymous fashion label and creative director of the couture house Nina Ricci. Into the plunging neckline of his black silk shirt, where, on the day that we meet, no fewer than nine necklaces are displayed. And into his Holland Park home, which feels like a sprawling museum despite totalling just 750 sq ft.
On a crescent, it occupies the ground floor of a converted stucco-fronted terrace. When the British-American designer, 29, and his husband, Eitan Senerman, 27, first looked around there were dead mice and a mosquito infestation in the garden pond. Senerman decided it wasn't for them, but Reed had other ideas — and that most precious of house-hunter possessions: a vision.
