Kesha Gears Up for Tits Out Tour With Slayyyter, Rose Gray Collab, ‘Attention!'
It's time to get sleazy! On Friday, Kesha released her new single 'Attention!' featuring Rose Gray and Slayyyter in what appears to be a teaser for the high energy expected on the Tits Out Tour where both rising stars will open for Kesha. 'Love it, hate it, leave it, take it / Click on the link to see me naked,' sings Kesha before the nightclub-ready chorus. Gray and Slayyyter join in for verses, with Slayyyter declaring, 'No guest list shit, I walk in the club while everybody still outside / Big comeback like Jesus' resurrection. Can I have your attention?' 'My music would not exist without Kesha's Sleazy remix,' Slayyyter wrote after the song dropped. 'I can't believe we're on the same track. Dreams came true today.' Both Gray are Slayyyter are set to be openers for Kesha's upcoming Tits Out Tour with Scissor Sisters, which kicks off in July, shortly after Kesha drops her upcoming albm. 'I'm going TITS OUT this summer to bring as much safety, fun, acceptance, love, connection, and celebration to this country because we are just as much the fabric of this FREE nation as anyone else,' Kesha said as she announced the run. 'We will not be quiet, and we will fight through joy! I think it's time to make LOVE, not content. LOVE, not anger. LOVE, not hatred, and love, not war.' The new track follows the release of the NSFW video for 'Boy Crazy,' which Kesha dropped earlier this week. She's set to share her album Period, stylized as the punctuation mark (.), on July 4. She started the era with 'Joyride' last summer, followed by November's 'Delusional.' Natanael Cano Launches Urbano Era With ‘Blancanieves'
The pioneer of corridos tumbados is stepping into a different sonic space on his new album. On Friday, Natanael Cano released his single 'Blancanieves,' which hears him skipping charchetas and guitars for trappy, reggaeton beats. 'And that look tells me everything and that smile steals everything from me/And with the Jordans stepping on the mud, but I swear I'm getting out of the hole,' raps the musician on the chorus. 'And I'll steal that ass, and even if it costs me my life with lead.' More from Rolling Stone Kesha Gears Up for Tits Out Tour With Slayyyter, Rose Gray Collab, 'Attention!' Cardi B Is Feisty and Ready for Summer on 'Outside' Xavi Questions If He's Really the Bad Guy on New Single 'El Malo' The video captures Cano reminiscing about a love story with his real-life girlfriend, with whom he travels the world, lounges on beaches, arrives at lavish homes, and poses for photos aboard a private jet in the video. The lyrics capture Cano singing about his obsession with the woman, and mentioning his affinity for coke and tusi. 'Blancanieves' marks the first release off of Cano's upcoming album Por Qué La Demora, the musician's urbano album, which is expected to drop on July 1. While it's not the first time Cano steps into the urbano space, it does follow a string of corrido tumbado albums and his Ariel Camacho-celebrating album Recordando Ariel Camacho, which he dropped earlier this year. His last full album came in 2023 with Nata Montana, featuring Peso Pluma, Luis R Conriquez, and Junior H. The genre change for Cano comes as Mexican artists have seen themselves targeted by the government for singing narcocorridos. 'With all due respect, we came here to Aguascalientes to sing for you, my friend, and with all due respect to the people who are prohibiting us from singing and showcasing our art, we don't give a damn,' Cano said at a recent show in Aguascalientes. Xavi Questions If He's Really the Bad Guy on New Single ‘El Malo'
Xavi is fine with being el malo — but he knows he probably isn't really the bad guy. On Thursday, the música mexicana star released his solo single, 'El Malo.' 'All my songs come from real life situations, and this one's for anyone who gets called the bad guy just for keeping it real,' Xavi tells Rolling Stone about the song. 'If I'm the bad guy in the story, why do you forget you hate me when you're drunk?' sings Xavi in Spanish. 'You act like you're my girlfriend, and you send me pictures of the Victorias,/And you act like it didn't happen when you're sober.' While this is Xavi's first solo release this year, he also joined Belinda on single 'Mírame Feliz' and he was joined by Neton Vega on 'Hija de Papi' and Manuel Turizo on 'En Privado.' The new singles followed his debut album, titled Next, which dropped last year. 'I was trying to keep it as original as possible. I think all the fusions kept it 100 with the genre. We're not jumping straight to reggaeton or anything like that,' he told Rolling Stone of the record last summer. 'As Mexicans, we want to keep pushing our genre and flag as high as possible. And we want to stay true to the genre and take it as far as possible.'
