Margaret Qualley felt 'lonely' in relationships before Jack Antonoff
Margaret Qualley felt 'lonely' in relationships before falling for Jack Antonoff. The 30-year-old actress and the 41-year-old musician got married in August 2023 on Long Beach Island after first meeting 'right as COVID was ending' and Margaret knew Jack was the one because she always felt 'safe' with him. She told Cosmopolitan magazine: 'Falling in love with Jack was the biggest feeling I've ever felt. We met right as COVID was ending, at the first party I'd been to. We saw each other on a roof, and we just started talking and never stopped. We went on a series of walks throughout the city that summer. 'In every other relationship I've ever been in, I still felt really lonely because I wasn't with my person, and it's like I was seeking something. I don't feel like that anymore. Jack makes me feel safe and comfortable. 'I spent so many years trying to be someone's perfect girl, and that girl changed over and over again. But I can't lie to Jack. I can't be that for him - he'd see through it. So, I just have to be myself. He's been the person I've pictured my whole life. And I'm not even saying that metaphorically. My first crush was Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy, and I've been looking for that essence my whole life. I'm like, 'That's Jack.'' And Margaret's sister Rainey Qualley, takes full credit for them getting together. She said: 'I was recording at Electric Lady, where Jack Antonoff works. We'd heard he was looking for forever love. So, when there was a small party on the roof and I had a bit too much to drink, I proceeded to tell Jack that he needed to date my sister!' Margaret also revealed Jack said 'I love you' first. She said: 'I'm very old-school about stuff like this. I would never put myself out there first. I never text twice. I mean, now we're married and I can text him anything at any time. We're always having a conversation; he's like my human diary. But before we were together, at the beginning, I would always follow Southern girl etiquette.' And, she shared her hopes of having children with Jack, saying: 'I want kids. I'm not there this second - I know there's a lot of stuff I don't know - but I've always wanted kids. Even as a little kid, I would imagine having babies.'

How Lorde Ended Up Showing Most of Her Album, ‘Virgin,' to Jack Harlow
Jack Antonoff may not have had a hand in creating Lorde's new album, Virgin, but the Grammy winner showed her upcoming body of work to another man of the same name: Jack Harlow. While they seem like an unexpected duo, the artists actually ran into each other at Electric Lady Studios in New York, where Lorde frequently works on music. 'Jack Harlow was working on Electric Lady when we were there towards the end of the record and somehow ended up getting most of the album played to him,' Lorde told Apple Music's Zane Lowe during an interview surrounding her follow-up to 2021's Solar Power. She added, 'It was a very funny, cool link. He's such a sweetheart. But he was like, 'Your bars are...' He was like, 'These are bars.' I was like, 'Your words, not mine.'' 'But it just is this sort of rolling cadence and physicality, and within that, I'm trying to make myself laugh. I'm trying to make my eyebrow raise. I'm trying to kind of... I don't know, just keep it feeling super alive,' she said of the project. Elsewhere during the conversation, the 'Hammer' hitmaker opened up about how she navigates fame now versus when she was thrust into the spotlight at 16. 'When I'm in the studio or when I'm in America, I'm an artist. When I go home to New Zealand, I'm not an artist and I turn that part of myself off. It's impossible, obviously,' she shared. She continued, 'I've realized now, and, again, this speaks to the trying to find this purest version of yourself, the purest version of me is famous out in the world. It's just that she's maybe in a garden experiencing ego death in the middle of the night on a heroic dose. I definitely had the sense with this, because an inextricable part of this album is that, yeah, I did a lot of psychedelics and really tried to break myself all the way down.' Listen To The Hypnotic Snippet Of Hailee Steinfeld's New Song For 'Sinners' Movie
Hailee Steinfeld is no stranger to stealing scenes in movies, but her latest role in Ryan Coogler's Sinners is full of sexy and horrifying moments that'll leave audiences begging for more. Plus, she'll be starring alongside Michael B. Jordan (Creed and Black Panther)! Should we start an early petition for a 'Dangerous' music video? Based on clips floating around the internet, this historical horror is set to provide a stage for both of their bewitching performances. Perhaps what makes us even more intrigued is how delighted the True Grit actress and Creed actor are about playing characters that'll have viewers talking long after the credits roll. When twin brothers Smoke and Stack return home for a new beginning, they're initially met with welcome arms. But as daylight turns to dusk and gives way to nightfall, unspeakable horrors expose themselves to the townspeople. Evil in the form of vampires consume everything in their path and it changes the brothers in ways they could've never prepared for. It's set in the 1930s South which means we'll get dialect, fashion, music, and more themes from that time period. According to , Sinners was filmed in the following Louisiana cities: New Orleans, Bogalusa, Donaldsonville, and Labadieville! Hailee Steinfeld will be starring as Mary, the love interest of Stack. Since not much is known about her outside of that, we're assuming their romance is forbidden. What we do know is Hailee's a fan of her character and the overall themes of Sinners. According to , the actress shared more of her thoughts in her newsletter March 28. She wrote, "...This role is far removed from what I've done, but that's part of what drew me to it! I feel like I'm stepping into my own more and more as I get older, and this role mirrors that." She also shared that it didn't take much for her to be a part of Sinners. "The minute I heard Ryan Coogler, I was in. Then I read his script and was like, 'Holy s---, this feels like a massive undertaking.' The story is so complex and layered," calling herself "fortunate and honored to even be remotely considered." So, how does Hailee Steinfeld feel about Sinners as a whole? She says it's "thrilling and sexy and daring and dangerous — with bold representations." Calling this type of movie a "first" for her, she continued sharing her excitement about it on the while chatting with Jenna Bush Hager and John Legend. She said, "This role, I feel just challenged me in ways that I was ready for." She also praised Ryan Coogler for being "the most incredible writer and director," which continues to speak to his amazing sight! Plus, the actress revealed she recorded new music for the Sinners soundtrack! She shared the news in her newsletter and gave subscribers an inside peek at how her song "" was created. She wrote, "Eleven days ago, I found myself somewhere I haven't been in over two years: a recording studio. Not just any recording studio, but Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady!" Hailee then proceeded to thank everyone who helped her record the song. She thanked Ryan Coogler for his unwavering belief in her role as Mary and "also as a musician," before expressing gratitude for Coogler's wife Zinzi, a producer for the Sinners movie. "She was a guiding force throughout the entire process," Hailee said of her and also commended her "calm confidence" for bringing "a perspective to this song that made it click" for the actress." Setting her sights on Ludwig Göransson, Hailee noted how "his music tells stories that will burn a hole in your heart" and calls working with him "beyond a dream." She was also stoked that he "brought in Sara Aarons, an amazing songwriter (via phone call), to help with the top line." Lastly, Hailee complimented violinist and orchestrator Serena McKinney Göransson (Ludwig's wife) for bringing "so much soul and precision" to "Dangerous." She applauded Serena's "supportive female energy" and said "watching her work with Ludwig was like watching people paint with sound." Overall, Hailee feels her new song has a "hauntingly beautiful score" that's perfect for Sinners because it has "emotional tension and quiet unraveling" in it. Although we can only listen to a snippet of "Dangerous," the full song releases next Friday, April 18. Besides Hailee Steinfeld, Sinners has a robust cast that'll make the storyline even more rousing. In no particular order, viewers will see: Michael B. Jordan as Smoke/Stack Jack O'Connell as Remmick Omar Benson Miller as Cornbread Li Jun Li as Grace Jayme Lawson as Pearline Wunmi Mosaku as Annie Delroy Lindo as Delta Slim Lola Kirke as Joan Miles Caton as Sammy The Sinners movie debuts April 18, 2025, so start planning your trip to your local theater ASAP! This week, another hit game becomes a feature film – A Minecraft Movie is out on that's not all the week has in TikTok star Djo (aka Steve from Stranger Things) has a new album out, SIX The Musical Live! hits cinemas, and we're finally going to find out about the Switch on for what's coming up this week... Mining for big screen success It's been heavily delayed, but A Minecraft Movie is finally wildly popular video game hits the big screen on Friday and boasts a star-studded cast including Jason Momoa, Jack Black and Jennifer tells the story of four misfits who are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld – the place where all players start in is one of the world's best selling video games, so there's a lot of pressure to deliver for fans of the blocky world (my 11-year-old nephew is legitimately more excited for this than Christmas)."This game has been loved by millions and millions all over the world for years now, and I think this movie is a big deal for a lot of people, because now it's generational," Black been a long history of game-to-film flops. But others, such as Sonic, were massive hits, so that's what Warner Bros will no doubt be hoping for. Djo know what I mean? By Mark Savage, music correspondent American actor Joe Keery is best known as reformed jock Steve Harrington, one of the main (and most loveable) characters in the sci-fi series Stranger he's also got a nifty line in throwback indie-pop, which he performs as Djo. The pseudonym was initially an attempt to avoid the accusations he was trading on his fame. He'd even perform in changed when he had a breakout hit with End of Beginning – a synth-heavy slice of psychedelia that went viral on TikTok last year, often the soundtrack to videos about what people would do if they won the lottery. The attention put a rocket under his music career. While his first two albums were DIY affairs, recorded in a couple of days and self-released, his latest, The Crux, was created in New York's fabled Electric Lady on Friday, it's packed full of off-kilter lyrics and squiggly synth lines that burrow into your brain. The first two singles, Delete Ya and Basic Being Basic have already been radio hits, and the rest of the album pulls on influences as diverse as Electric Light Orchestra, New Order, Cake, Hall & Oates and Bruce Springsteen (coincidentally, all bands that would work perfectly on the Stranger Things soundtrack). There are a couple of knockouts – including the crunchy garage rock of Gap Toothed Smile, and the choppy New Wave anthem Link – but the point of the album is its diversity. Keery envisioned each song as the story of a separate guest at a hotel where everyone is at a spiritual or emotional crossroads. It's the big Switch 2 reveal By Tom Gerken, tech reporter This week has been in the diaries of gaming fans around the world for months, as we finally are about to learn what's coming with the Switch 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the Nintendo Switch, aka the third-best selling console in it's no surprise that we're going to get some news on Wednesday – but the question is, what?Almost certainly Nintendo will unveil a price and a launch date. But quite what that will be, who knows – July 2025 feels like a safe bet, but to be fair, would anyone be surprised if it came out in December?Fans are desperate for news on games. The rumour mill swirls with talks of a new Mario, Zelda and Pokémon, but nobody has any proof to back it up. (I'd personally bite your hand off for a new Fire Emblem, but that's just me…)Will we see super flashy new graphics? A high quality screen? A better battery life? There are too many questions to one thing is really certain – whatever happens, when Nintendo's announcement is over, we'll be left counting down the days to the console's actual release… whenever that may be.
