e-Trade Portal System (PTS) launched at Khoms Port

‎The Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade announced last Friday (18 July) that it launched the e-Trade Portal System (PTS) at Khoms Port, to simplify the procedures of the logistics sector and improve shipping services.‎ The system allows ship arrival notifications and shipping data to be sent electronically to the Maritime Inspection Office, as part of a plan to digitize procedures in cooperation with the Libya Trade Network, the Ports Authority, and the Libyan Ports Company. A technical office affiliated with the network was also opened within the port to monitor the system's implementation and remove obstacles facing importers and exporters, in implementation of the regulatory regulations approved by Cabinet Resolution No. 637 of 2024. .
