Brad Pitt's pretty costar Elizabeth Debicki towers over him on set of his Cliff Booth movie
Brad Pitt 's new leading lady has definitely got a few inches on him. The 61-year-old actor - who cracked a smile earlier this week - was joined by his gorgeous costar Elizabeth Debicki, 34, who towered over him on the Los Angeles set of The Adventures Of Cliff Booth. Elizabeth is four inches taller than her A-list castmate as she is listed at 6feet3 while Brad is reportedly 5feet11. Brad looked every bit the late 1960s hunk as he reprises his Oscar-winning role. He donned a brown suede jacket over light trousers and beige suede heeled boots. The Fight Club actor donned a medium-length dirty blonde wig and sported a mustache. Elizabeth did not wear heeled footwear and instead sported a pair of sandals and still was considerably taller than the leading man. The Australian actress best known for her Emmy Award winning performance as Princess Diana in The Crown wore all white including suit and top. Her long blonde locks were worn down in a middle-part as she accentuated her natural looks with complementary make-up. Brad's latest project is a sequel to 2019's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film - which featured Sydney Sweeney, Mikey Madison, Austin Butler, and Margaret Qualley who were all up-and-comers at the time - starred Pitt as Cliff, a stuntman for the Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio). DiCaprio is not listed as a cast member on the show's IMDb page, which describes the plot as showcasing 'more of Cliff Booth's backstory in his new role as a Hollywood fixer.' Tarantino previously fleshed out the character beyond how he's portrayed in the film with a novelization of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood that he wrote. While the upcoming film will focus on Cliff, Pitt clarified last month that the project was 'not really a sequel but an episode' featuring the character. The Australian actress best known for her Emmy Award winning performance as Princess Diana in The Crown (she is seen in September 2024) 'This is something Quentin Tarantino wrote. It's an episode, not really a sequel, but an episode of the character from Once Upon A Time,' he told Deadline. 'But he didn't want to direct it at this point, and my friend David Fincher, our friend, I say our mutual friend, David Fincher stepped in to direct it,' Pitt explained. 'So we're doing that for Netflix and we're gonna start in July, it should be really fun. It should be good fun.' In addition to Pitt, the cast consists of Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Scott Caan and JB Tadena. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood earned numerous awards and nominations, including multiple Oscar nods.

Star of ‘one of the best TV series ever' promises season 2 is coming soon
It's been nearly 10 years since BBC's The Night Manager first hit our screens. The six-episode espionage drama, developed from John le Carré's 1993 novel bearing the same name, became an instant hit with viewers. Loki actor Tom Hiddleston, 44, played the main role of Jonathan Pine, while Hugh Laurie excelled as Richard Onslow Roper as Olivia Colman, Elizabeth Debicki and Tom Hollander rounded out a star-studded cast. Last year, fans were left in a state of ecstasy after the BBC finally announced its return to our screens after an eight-year absence. As of now, however, there have yet to be any concrete details released about when the second series is expected to come out. But, it appears the wait might be over sooner rather than later. Appearing on The One Show, Hiddleston – who is set to appear in the second and third instalments of the series – teased when audiences might anticipate the the show's next season. Speaking with presenters Roman Kemp and Clara Amfo, he was joined by The Life of Chuck co-stars Karen Gillan and Mark Hamill. Answering viewer's questions, he playfully shared that the second series would be 'coming soon'. Previously, it was revealed The Night Manager had received approval for second and third series from both the BBC and Amazon Prime Video, with Tom confirming his return to the forthcoming episodes. Additional information has remained largely confidential, though the second series will continue from where the original concluded, regardless of the considerable gap between both seasons. Despite the good news surrounding the second season returning soon, one star is reportedly being replaced. It was claimed last year that The Crown's Elizabeth Debicki will not be returning. More Trending Instead, the 34-year-old is said to be replaced by Daisy Jones and the Six star Camila Morrone – a former girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio. Earlier this month, Metro readers also claimed that The Night Manager is one of the 'smartest shows on television'. The critically acclaimed thriller has picked up three Golden Globes among many other awards. View More » The Night Manager is available to watch on BBC iPlayer. Got a story? David Fincher's ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD Netflix Sequel Adds Elizabeth Debicki and Scott Caan — GeekTyrant
Elizabeth Debicki ( Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 , The Crown ) and Scott Caan ( Ocean's 11 ) have joined the cast of David Fincher's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood follow-up at Netflix. The pair will star alongside Brad Pitt, who is reprising his Oscar-winning role as the zen stuntman Cliff Booth for the feature, which comes from a script written by the original film's writer-director Quentin Tarantino. The sequel still seems somewhat unreal to many fans of Tarantino and Fincher, but with the addition of more cast members, the project seems to be gaining steam as it heads towards a potential summer production start in California. The synopsis of the film remains shrouded in mystery, but the film, which is currently being called The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth , is currently in pre-production. It was previously revealed that this next chapter is shaping up to be a unique continuation and it was explained: "This probably should not be thought of as a sequel. This should be thought of more of a follow-up that's connected to but not the same as — the example that was cited to me was, think about how A Big Sleep , the Raymond Chandler adaptation starring Humphrey Bogart, is in the same world as Farewell, My Lovely , the 1975 Robert Mitchum movie, but it's [a] different actor, different directors, different time in the storyline. They are different, they are not really sequels, they are the further adventures of [Cliff]." It was also said: 'The movie takes place in 1977, which is roughly eight years after Once Upon a Time in Hollywood , so a different time in Cliff's life." Stay tuned for updates as it moves forward.

Side partings are back – here's how to make the flip
It's hard to pinpoint precisely when the near-unanimous decision that middle partings were the most flattering occurred. The nail in the coffin for the previously favoured side parting came circa 2021, when Gen Z took to TikTok to deride the Millennial sweep, allegedly up there with skinny jeans as unforgivably passé and universally less flattering than the alternatives. Centrist wisdom argues that a middle parting, as popularised by the supermodels of the 1990s, can complement the symmetry of the face. But, on the proverbial flipside, an off-centre parting can balance out asymmetries and give a youthful boost, so it's worth considering being swayed in their favour – unless you've defied the trend cycle all along, of course. Like so many Noughties favourites, the side parting currently appears to be enjoying a renaissance. Just look at the Princess of Wales, perennial pin-up for the bouncy blow-dry, who's been spotted on various recent engagements sporting the side parting she favoured throughout the late 2000s. It's back in the spotlight at Fashion Weeks too – see Demi Moore and Elizabeth Debicki at the Paris Haute Couture shows, or Simone Ashley and Meghann Fahy sitting front row in New York. On the red carpet, it's a styling stalwart; nothing says old Hollywood glamour like a deep side parting among smooth, glossy waves or an updo – ask anyone from Rosamund Pike to Zendaya. Isabel Warren, a stylist from Hershesons, a string of London salons with its own line of sought-after hair products, has noticed an increase in clients requesting a side parting. 'We've seen it on the red carpet for a long time but it's coming up more as a day-to-day option now,' she says. 'Switching to a side parting can really change your overall look, making you seem polished because you've put a little more effort in by straying from the norm. As a bonus, people often say it reminds them of when they were younger.' As for where to part your hair, and how deep to go, Warren recommends a certain amount of trial and error. 'There aren't really any hard and fast rules,' she says. 'It's best to brush your hair back then see where it naturally falls, then play around with moving it from side to side and having a good look in the mirror. You might flip it onto one side and think 'ok, it's not doing much', then flip it to the other and see that your whole face looks lifted.' To test this theory out, three Telegraph writers tried out the parting switch – with some surprising results… Sonia Haria, beauty director Isabel: 'As Sonia has a fringe and a stronger central parting, it was all about getting a round brush and hairdryer to smooth it down to one side and set it. I then used the Hershesons Multi-Tasker tool with the 32mm waver attachment to enhance her hair texture and add beachy waves. I also used our Almost Everything Cream to finish the look and help keep the parting in place. Don't be afraid to use this product at the roots – it gives hold and shape. Add some hairspray too if you want.' Sonia: 'I really like the side parting actually – and I didn't think I would. I've been very committed to a centre parting for over a decade. But slightly off-centre feels sophisticated but not too fussy. I also feel a bit like my mum in the Eighties, in a good way! Styled with some texture, it still feels cool and current, whereas if it were blow-dried out all big and bouncy, I don't think I'd like it so much.' Sophie Tobin, junior fashion and beauty editor Isabel: 'Because Sophie wasn't sure about the side parting, I decided to style it first and figure out the parting afterwards. Ultimately, placing the parting just off-centre, rather than deep on one side, felt the most relaxed. Her hair has natural texture when it's left to air-dry, but I smoothed it out for this look using the Multi Tasker with the mini heat brush attachment – the size is perfect for creating the sleek flick we achieved. She also mentioned that she had less hair on one side, so the parting we've gone for showcases the thicker side.' Sophie: 'My hair has naturally got a bit of a wave to it, so the initial side-parting made me feel like I was in an Eighties rom-com. Once straightened out and given a bit of a flick it was more of a statement and something I would wear to a wedding, rather than every day. I'm very low maintenance with my hair so I tend to steer away from anything that takes more than 10 minutes to prep, but for special occasions I would consider doing this look again.' Jessica Burrell, Telegraph fashion contributor Isabel: 'I picked one side for Jessica's parting but then once I started styling it, it kept naturally flipping over to the other side, so that's what we went for in the end. Sometimes, your hair knows best. For a touch of volume, lift the hair from the root when you're blow-drying it with a round brush. Then, for the face-framing detail, stretch the front pieces of hair left to right, land on a side, and brush it into place while it's still hot, letting it cool in place.' Jessica: 'I was surprised by how much more symmetrical my face looked with a side parting – it makes me think that the middle parting I moved to around 10 years ago exacerbates its asymmetry. The side parting immediately made me feel more glamorous and put-together and I haven't changed it back to the centre since the shoot, partly because it's naturally staying there now. As a proudly dated millennial, I delight in embracing any trend Gen Z is allegedly telling me to avoid.'
