Three arrested and guns seized after Ogdensburg standoff
OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWTI) – Three people were arrested and several firearms were seized after a standoff with Ogdensburg Police.
According the Ogdensburg Police Department, authorities were called to 432 Oak Street in the city around 12:10 p.m. on Friday, March 14 to reports of a male subject threatening to shoot a female.

Police then surrounded the home as a 22-year-old man identified as Elliot Roberts allegedly kept authorities at bay for about an hour before eventually being taken into custody.
Authorities also added that three homeless people allegedly lived at the residence. According to authorities, this is the woman that was allegedly threatened. However, no one was injured.
Roberts received charges of unlawful imprisonment, criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. He was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail on $5,000 bail.
Ogdensburg Police went back to residence on March 20 and executed a search warrant. Authorities found a pair of shotguns and an assault riffle.
The Ogdensburg PD arrested two people that were allegedly described as squatters, who were identified as 52-year-old Penny Arquitt and 45-year-old Melissa Gordon.
Arquitt was charged with criminal possession of a weapon while Gordon was arrested on three bench warrants and turned over to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities added that more arrests could be coming as the investigation continues.
