Jonas Hofmann wants to explore prospects under Erik ten Hag
Jonas Hofmann was heavily linked with a departure from Bayer Leverkusen this summer with Augsburg showing an interest, but the German wants to explore his chances under Erik ten Hag. Kicker reports that Hofmann will wait and see how Ten Hag plans to utilise him before deciding on his Bayer Leverkusen future. The 32-year-old played just 352 minutes in the Bundesliga under Xabi Alonso last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. The German even found himself behind January arrival Emi Buendía, who managed 252 minutes in six months on loan from Aston Villa.
