Fifth Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup achieves remarkable success in Poland
9 Aug 2025 13:33 WARSAW (WAM)The Fifth Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHGC) concluded Friday evening in the Polish capital, event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) and the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the EAHS, and Chairman of EAHGC closing ceremony was attended by Mohammed Al Harbi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Republic of Poland, and Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director-General of the EAHS and Vice Chairman of the EAHGC Committee, who both participated in crowning the round marked the first European leg of the second edition of the Cup, which will also feature a round in Belgium at the end of August and another in Italy in competitions took place over two days at the famous Janów Podlaski Stud Farm, with the participation of 63 horses representing 33 owners. The event included qualifying rounds for yearling colts and fillies, as well as two- and three-year-old categories, in addition to mares and stallions. The competition concluded with the final championships for each category.

171 horses to compete Friday in EAHGC in Morocco
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, and under the supervision of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board, the third leg of the second edition of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHGC) will kick off tomorrow in the Kingdom of Morocco. The competitions will be held over three days at the Institut National du Cheval Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan in Dar Es Salam, Rabat. Competitions will include yearling colts and fillies, 2- and 3-year-old colts and fillies, mares and stallions, with a total of 171 horses belonging to about 52 owners from across Morocco – a nation with a distinguished track record in Arabian horse activities, specifically horse championships. Established in 2013 in Rabat, the National Horse Institute, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, is the very first institution dedicated to equestrianism in Morocco and focuses on training the next generation of equestrians and upholding Morocco's rich equestrian heritage through national and international events. The second edition of the EAHGC comprises a series of strong and unique championships aimed at encouraging breeders and owners of Arabian horses worldwide, highlighting the UAE's role in caring for Arabian horses and preserving their special international standing among organizations, breeders and owners. Australia was the host of the first leg of the second edition of the EAHGC from January 31 to February 2, 2025, while the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the second leg on May 1-2. The fourth leg is set to take place in China on July 17, 2025, before returning to the Middle East for the fifth leg in the Sultanate of Oman on August 1. Poland will host the first European leg (6th leg) – on August 8, before the seventh leg kicks off in Belgium on August 30, and the eight leg will be held in the United States on September 11, while Argentina hosts the ninth leg on September 18, before the tenth and final leg of the second edition in Italy on November 8, 2025. 14 Apr 2025 19:49 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Court, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, has honoured French rider Kevin Staut as the winner of the 14th UAE President's Cup Showjumping CSI5*, held from April 10 to 13, 2025 and organised and hosted by Abu Dhabi Equestrian championship was held under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation and the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, and was sponsored by Longines, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and a group of companies that provided sponsorship for the 2* category international event welcomed elite international riders competing for more than Dh2.3 million in Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan praised the outstanding organisation of the event and its role in supporting Abu Dhabi's attractiveness as a destination for equestrianism and sport, and praised competitors for their high levels of the CSI2* competition, British rider Georgia Tame claimed first place, followed by Emirati rider Abdullah Mohammed Al Marri in second. Ireland's Shane Breen secured third place. In the CSI5* competition, Ireland's Cian O'Connor was awarded the Silver Cup, with French rider Roger-Yves Bost earning the Bronze Cup. Emiratis Abdullah Mohammed Al Marri and Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi came in eighth and ninth place respectively.
