MoHRE Extends Emirates Labour Market Award Applications Until August 31
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that applications for the third edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award will remain open until 31 August 2025. The award celebrates excellence in private sector labour practices and honours exceptional members of the UAE workforce. Submissions can be made through the official website, This year's edition expands the total number of winners to nearly 100, up from 84 in 2024, with categories covering establishments, individual workers, labour accommodations, business service partners, and special recognitions. Applicants will be evaluated by expert committees using criteria such as recruitment, occupational health and safety, innovation, talent attraction, wages, and social responsibility. Winners will be honoured at a ceremony hosted by MoHRE in November. The Establishments category will recognise 40 companies for excellence in human resource management and workplace wellbeing. The Outstanding Workforce category will award 30 individuals across skilled workers, other professional levels, and domestic workers, with nominees assessed on achievement, lifelong learning, and community impact. Ten winners will be selected under the Labour Accommodations category, which now includes a new subcategory encouraging sustainable entertainment and engagement initiatives for workers, especially during national events. The Business Services Partners category will honour three top-performing entities in recruitment and service delivery, while the Special Recognition category will highlight 15 influential contributors—12 pioneering companies and three influencers—for their impact on labour market development and awareness.
