Coastal Bend LNG integrates AI solutions from ClassVI.AI
Coastal Bend LNG is set to utilise generative AI (genAI) solutions from US start-up to prepare its permitting application for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
The company will embed genAI solutions into its permitting workflow to expedite preparation of the FERC pre-filing and application for its natural gas liquefaction and export facility being developed along the Texas Gulf Coast, US.
Coastal Bend LNG CEO Nick Flores said: 'Embedding secure, generative AI solutions into our permitting workflow is accelerating our preparation for the FERC pre-filing and application process.

Coastal Bend LNG is set to begin the FERC pre-filing process this year, incorporating AI solutions to manage the documentation required for the application.
This includes detailed project features, environmental impact assessments, engineering designs and community engagement plans.

In related news, global engineering company EXP has been appointed as the lead environmental consultant for Coastal Bend LNG's forthcoming natural gas liquefaction and export facility project on the Texas Gulf Coast.
EXP is set to provide essential environmental consulting services to support the development of the Coastal Bend facilities.
