'Injection liya hai tu?': Shubman Gill under pressure as Akash Deep struggles with another injury, video goes viral

New Delhi: Team India's Test skipper Shubman Gill was heard asking Indian bowler Akash Deep if he had taken an injection to get relief from his pain as the star bowler suffered another injury during England's chase in the fifth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy played at the Oval. What happened to Akash Deep?
In the second-to-last over before lunch on Day 4 of the fifth Test in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, Brook hit a straight drive that went straight back to Akash Deep, hitting him on the shin. What did Shubman Gill ask?
The stump mic picked up Gill shouting, 'Injection liya kya tum?' – asking if Akash had taken a painkiller shot and was ready to bowl. He repeated the question, signalling urgency.

What happened in the match?
Talking about the match, when the final innings resumed on 50 for one wicket under overcast conditions in London, England's star batter Ben Duckett smashed a stunning fifty before getting dismissed by Prasidh Krishna. Then his other bowling partner Mohammed Siraj struck shortly after to dismiss captain Ollie Pope, but England star batter Joe Root and Harry Brook carried Englaldn to 164-3 at lunch.
After the lunch break, Shubman Gill was continuing with his pacer bowlers, both Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj were bowling together. Later, the Indian captain brought up Washington Sundar for a short spin spell, looking for a wicket or an impact, but it was not that impactful.
During the second session, both of them reached their respective fifties while England was at 250 runs, so they had 125 runs left to achieve the humongous victory target of 374, which would give them a 3-1 series win.
England are now chasing history at The Oval. Fewer runs have been scored to win in a fourth innings of a Test at the ground than England's 263 in a one-wicket victory over Australia in 1902.
