'Netflix had originally signed a different deal with the makers. However, due to multiple delays, the streaming platform reportedly urged the team to release the film in theatres as soon as possible. Releasing the Hindi version without backing from major multiplex chains wouldn't be profitable, and the rule that requires at least eight weeks between a theatrical release and its OTT debut would further complicate things. To avoid these challenges, the team is said to have decided to skip a theatrical release for the Hindi version and opt for a direct OTT release instead," the report mentioned. An official clarification from the team is still awaited. Besides this, there have been several rumours and claims that Vijay Deverakonda has replaced Vikrant Massey as the main villain in Farhan Akhtar's action thriller Don 3. According to paparazzo Sneh Kumar Zala, Vijay Deverakonda will face off against Ranveer Singh in Don 3, not Vikrant. However, there is no official confirmation to this as of now.
