Don't miss out on the headlines from Royals. Followed categories will be added to My News. Prince Andrew's daughters are thought to be garnering sympathy from friends after becoming collateral damage in a new book about the ousted royal and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. A new book by royal biographer Andrew Lownie, titled The Rise and Fall of the House of York, has revealed some embarrassing titbits about life within the family who have been stricken by controversy for decades. In the book, the author claims that the disgraced Duke of York forced his and Ferguson's daughters into official trips and business deals in the Middle East. These trips eventually led to aiding both Beatrice and Eugenie in kickstarting their own careers as the pair are not working royals and so therefore expected to make their own money. Beatrice has an AI business while her sister, Eugenie, 35, is a director at art gallery Hauser and Wirth. 'All they have ever done is stand by their parents in the most horrific public circumstances,' a source close to the Princesses told The Daily Beast's Tom Sykes. 'I don't think it's fair to criticise them for (their parents),' said the source. 'They're sweet girls who understand that they are immensely privileged, and have always been grateful for the privilege they've had, and have tried to use it to do the right thing.' The insider added that the monarchy doesn't support either of the sisters outside of supplying them both with homes inside the palace, which are paid for by King Charles. 'They were told to get jobs by the firm and they did that, so it seems unfair to attack them for making money,' the source added. The Duke of York walks with his daughter Princess Beatrice. Author Andrew Lownie's new book 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York', details the private and intimate life of Prince Andrew. In a new book, bombshell claims ... more Elsewhere in the book, it's alleged that Prince Andrew lost his virginity aged just 11. The book attempts to uncover when Andrew became 'obsessed with women', pinpointing it back to his premature sexual experiences. According to a chapter titled 'Randy Andy', the prince had his first sexual experience aged just 8. A source said, 'He admitted that his second sexual experience came before he turned 12 and when he was 13 he had already slept with more than half-a-dozen girls.' Another unnamed source who knows the prince added to The Telegraph they were, indeed, aware of Andrew's 'sexual experiences at what most of us would consider as too young an age.' 'The Duke's personal story is far more complex than people realise or have ever been prepared to properly consider,' the source went on. Lownie wrote of his decision to include the unsavoury claim in his book, arguing, 'It seemed to me it was part of building a picture of behaviour, and how it shaped his life. 'It does perhaps explain some of the behaviour later on. 'I think he [Andrew], in some ways, has been a victim. It does make him much more sympathetic, in a way.' Prince Harry denies new book's claim that he punched Prince Andrew

Prince Harry says he never punched his problematic uncle Prince Andrew, nor did the latter make insulting remarks about Meghan Markle, despite claims being made in a new book. Author Andrew Lownie's soon-to-be released biography, 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,' details some of the more intimate elements of Prince Andrew's life, including his marriage and divorce from Sarah Ferguson, his relationships with his family and the immense scrutiny he's faced due to his connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Harry denies allegations of 'punching Andrew' and 'calling him a coward'

Prince Harry has denied claims that he left Prince Andrew with a 'bloody nose' during a furious altercation, made in a bombshell new book. The Duke of Sussex is accused of punching the Duke of York at a family gathering in 2013 after branding him a "coward" in author Andrew Lownie's new book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York. Tensions are said to have flared between the royal pair after Harry was told of "something Andrew said" behind his back, he writes, adding that the relationship between the two has not improved over a decade since the alleged incident. In a new extract from the book, Mr Lownie writes: "At a family gathering in 2013, Harry and Andrew had got into a heated argument, and punches were thrown over something Andrew said behind Harry's back." In the book, which is being serialised by the Daily Mail, he added: "According to a source close to both men, Harry told him he was a coward not to say it to his face. Harry got the better of Andrew by all accounts, leaving him with a bloody nose before the fight was broken up." The author also described Prince Andrew's relationship with both his nephews Harry and William as "problematic", with Andrew later said to have told the Duke of Sussex that his marriage to Meghan Markle would "not last more than a month". Harry's representatives have denied both claims made in the new book, Mirror UK reports. In a statement to People magazine, a member of the Duke's staff said: "I can confirm neither of those things are true. Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry." The book also alleges that Prince William has been working behind the scenes to support Andrew's eviction from the Royal Lodge, the £31 million Windsor estate where the Duke of York lives with his former wife, Sarah Ferguson. It follows multiple reported attempts by King Charles to have his brother removed from the 31-bed mansion, with the Duke of York appearing intent to stay put. Photos from earlier this year showed the property looking distinctly worse for wear, with black mould, damp, and cracked paintwork visible around the exterior, as well as the outbuildings and the gatehouse. The Prince of Wales is said to have "long harboured" disdain for both Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, according to the book, and would look to evict the pair himself upon taking the throne should his father not succeed.
