Kaila Napolis settles for silver in World Games

Kaila Napolis settled for silver after falling short against South Korea's Eon Ju Im in the jiu-jitsu ne-waza 52kg women's finals in the World Games on Sunday in Chengdu, China.
This is the Philippines' first medal in the tournament this year.
Wushu sanda's Krizan Faith Collado and Carlos Jr Baylon, meanwhile, both advanced to the semifinals after successful bouts at the 2025 World Games in China.
Collado defeated Elisabetta Sirto of Italy, 2-0, in the sanda 52kg women, while Baylon won against Uzbekistan's Saydullo Abdurashitov, 2-0, in men's aanda 65kg. The semifinals will start on Monday.
In muay thai, Rudzma Abubakar settled for fourth after forfeiting her supposed bronze medal match against Oumaima Bellouarat of Morocco due to a nose injury.
Earlier, wakeboarder Raph Trinidad scored 56.00 to finish fourth in the finals of the men's cable wakeboard event.
